“Absolutely wonderful experience. Breakfast was the best part of the trip. Delicious fresh breakfast every AM. 2 blocks from beach. Loved that the beach rental room was open to come and go as you please and you don’t have to check items out at the front desk. Hotel was very clean and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are a tiny bit small but not an issue for two people. Highly recommend.”

“The Hokulani is a great location and I would recommend it to those traveling and want a more urban stay. The bathroom itself was beautiful and spacious. The staff was friendly and responsive. You’re right in the midst of the beach, food and shopping, and a quick trip for different excursions around the island.”

“Fairly good hotel. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Good room layout. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Pool was lovely. There were lots of families, so I would assume it is kid friendly. Cons: -in a suburb, so you need a car to get around -bathrooms could use a bit more upkeep and definitely need more hooks for towels! There were only 2 hooks—not enough for 4 people -the walls and doors are not soundproof, so you can easily hear when people walk past your room or when kids run down the hall Overall, I’d return.”

“Great place to stay and to chill out. Quiet and great views from the upper floors. | Walking distance to Waikiki. Hotel is clean and well maintained. ||Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Melissa Y, the front desk manager, who …”

“Great hotel that was exactly as described. Property is older (like most Waikiki hotels) but they have done a great job. Our room was comfortable, spacious, AC worked great, and had a little kitchenette which was very convenient. Hotel has beach chairs, umbrellas and extra goodies for guests to use. The location is excellent, walking distance to everything and with a biki bike station out front. What I loved most about this hotel though was the staff - they were so friendly, helpful and kind. Will definitely stay here again on a future trip - in Hawaii, I need something comfortable, safe and decent as I plan to spend almost of my time outdoors, not in my hotel room. This hotel is spot on for that!”
2233 Helumoa Rd, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States
“Stunning hotel in a great location! Short walk to the beach and tons of shopping and restaurants. The service was fantastic. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped us plan excursions. Room was smaller but beautiful, clean, and had a nice view. The rooftop pool and hot tub are beautiful with a view of the ocean. Bar included and plenty of lounge areas. The whole floor that the pool is located on has plenty of places to change, relax, charge your devices, etc. on checkout day when you no longer have your room and waiting for your flight. I hope to be back!”
342 Seaside Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States
“This boutique hotel is a little gem in the heart of Waikiki. Valet car parking is an excellent deal. You can go in and out as you need to for a flat daily fee. The employees greet you every time they see you. The coffee downstairs in the morning is delicious & complimentary. There’s a quaint café next door that even people that are not staying in the hotel come to visit for their delicious light meals. I would stay here again. I highly recommend it!”
2003 Kālia Rd, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States
“Be warned - your Hilton status counts for nothing here, they have their own “timeshare” guests that get precedence over Diamond Elite members… Rooms are very noisy, dated and tired. The Lagoon “suites” are like institutional rooms and most …”

“The staff was super nice and helpful. The location & view is the best! And it’s clean! But seriously, that’s about it. The rooms & bathroom are very small, like cruiseship small. The beds were so horrible. Nothing comfortable about them at all. Like sleeping on the floor, but with sheets. Even though there are 2 full size beds, there’s no way 4 people would ever be comfortable in the room. There are seriously no amenities. No pool. No hot tub.no gym. No waters in the room. No restaurant or bar. No microwave. No valet. Parking absolutely stinks. If you like all the fancy and luxurious things about hotels, this is not the one for you. If you just want somewhere to crash while you go to the beach all week, then this is your hotel!”
129 Paoakalani Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States
“Hotel renew is great because it is local to Waikiki beach and local shops and diners. The staff are incredibly friendly and are really fun. Particularly Jaz and Lance are very polite. Our first stay with Hotel renew was from the 18-21st …”
