We camped in a truck camper and it was tight. We camped in site 17. Could not take the camper off the truck and have room for the truck. But do not let this stop you from visiting this stunning NP. Thank you!”

“We loved our stay here! We booked the king bed patio room in Los Portales, and it did not disappoint. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure and was just really nice. We took full advantage of the fireplace in our room too (December visit). The grounds and entire complex were beautiful, and we did a quick visit to the gardens and those were nice too! Highly recommend this gem!”

“It’s a lodge so don’t expect a lot. But the room we got was renovated and we liked it. It’s a drive to get here from the ghost town or the national park and the last 3 miles are not paved. If your car can handle it then you should be fine. Also there is no cell service and WiFi is spotty, so good place to be disconnected. The cafe here is good.”

“We started here during our trip to Big Bend National Park. The staff is very nice. The hotel is very well maintained. Rooms are very clean comfy beds and all the basic amenities and toiletries. Tue best part was the rooms were cleaned and beds were made, towels were replaced when we came back in the evening. Breakfast is served morning. We were there on Christmas Day and the spread was absolutely amazing.”
