“We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The prime location along the main Alleppey backwater stretch was a highlight, and the large rooms offered a spacious and comfortable experience. Opting for one of the three backwater-facing rooms provided an amazing view. The staff was not only soft-spoken but also incredibly helpful, enhancing the overall experience. The resort proved to be excellent value for money, with a good pool that also offered a pleasant view. While the quality of food and breakfast could be improved, the positives of the stay far outweighed this minor drawback. Highly recommended for a memorable and value experience.”

“If you are going to this hotel contact the management or search for The green palace car parking .The location of the hotel needs to be updated or the Hotel management needs to share the hotel transit info to customers. We cannot directly go to the hotel on Road which google shows. We need to go to lake point from where there will be a boat provided by hotel management to take us to the hotel. We have faced this issue and we were travelling at night 8 without this knowledge. The hotel is very good and it is centrally located in the lake with scenic views. The food is good but the service can be improved as they provided food which was cold after 2 hrs of our order time. The rooms provided to the car drivers is not good and there is no other option as this hotel is located very far from the town.”

“We spent 5 nights at the Sea Lap and could have stayed much longer! The property has a pretty garden and is perfectly situated beachfront with lounge chairs and hammocks. The owner Anoop and his family took perfect care of us during our stay. They have a restaurant onsite where you eat with your feet in the sand and can eat your dinner under the stars. At our request they even cooked delicious local Kerala food for us! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and friendly hospitality at a great value.”

“We are surprised to see there are some bad reviews for this location as we have found it to be a lovely place to be. Our bungalow is spacious and very clean and the staff have been excellent. Do note that it is beachfront, which we enjoyed. There is a lovely breeze from the sea and each morning you can watch the fishermen at work from the patio where sunbeds and table and chairs are provided. The bathroom is spacious - note the walls don’t quite reach the roof which means that wildlife may visit you. But the occasional little lizard or frog will be far more scared of you that you are of them! So they won’t come near and will scurry away fast. The showers give out a good supply of water and there is a tap outside to wash your feet before entry. Complimentary snacks and water are freely and plentifully provided which we enjoyed after several hotels of scavenging water! The cleaning staff may surprise you with towel artwork and flowers which are Instagram-friendly. We ate here all the time - you can eat in the little restaurant area or on your patio and they will happily deliver it to you. Prices were comparable with other hotel food. We swam in the sea - very warm. Also went kayaking in the little nearby lake. Note there is no alcohol license, but staff are happy to go buy it for you and bring it to your room where there is a fridge. We spent a few days relaxing here after a manic two weeks of touring. I’d certainly recommend it here for a quiet break with lovely views.”

They have banquet setup for bigger functions like marriages, engagements, business conferences etc. Staff is friendly, helping and supporting; we were passing through the area as part of our long journey and happen to visit this place. The manager at the restaurant was helping and guided us to make the right choices for our food befitting our non-south Indian appetite.”
