We stayed in the Eros room which had been decorated with red hearts ( a nice touch) and the owner was very helpful when we asked of we could book an early taxi which was appreciated. A fantastic place to stay for a little bit of luxury and something different and romantic.”

“Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The thermal baths are a great way to relax after a sightseeing day. The food is excellent with local dishes prepared fresh from local produce. Lots of great salads as starters. Gluten free options and other allergies well understood and catered for. Rooms clean and in good repair. Gardens are beautifully tended. Decorations around the hotel are well thought out. Clientele is mainly Italian and Germanic. Sandy private beach. Walk to Forio port is 1.7km (25 minutes). Village of Forio has a pedestrian area with a good choice of restaurants and shops.”

The rooms and the hotel energy is bright, clean, new and modern, the breakfast was tasty, and we even got live entertainment in the form of a Coldplay tribute band performance 😂. Grazi!”

“This hotel is absolutely magnificent. The property is beautiful and the staff was wonderful. We stayed in a Jr Suite that overlooked the marina and could not have been happier. I would have loved to have stayed here a few more days! It’s the absolute best of Sorrento! Yes, it’s expensive but so worth it! Spend the money, you will be glad you did!”

“One of the best dinners of my life. Don Alfonso isnt your typical 2 Michelin star fancy experience. Don Alfonso gives you the fancy, elegance, homey, warm and simple experience all at once. You don’t get the feeling that they’re trying to sell you an expensive bottle of wine. They want to give you the best Italian dinning experience of your life and they certainly delivered that. Every bite was exceptional. It was by far the best meal I had in Italy. Mario welcomed me like I was the most important customer, the food was perfection, the wine was great, the family kept coming to check in. The staff was all amazing. I had a truly great experience. Worth every euro and will return every time I visit.”

“The Grand Hotel la Favorita has the most wonderful staff! The ladies at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. They helped us with transportation for tours and to the train station, provided restaurant recommendations, and answered many questions to help us be more comfortable. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the bartender was so friendly. He made yummy cocktails. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. The beds were a little firm and could maybe use an upgrade, but it could also be me. I like a softer bed myself. The grounds of the hotel were beautifully kept (especially for off season) and honestly, this was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. It was conveniently located near the plaza and hiking/walking areas, shopping, restaurants, and bars. Five Stars for this amazing hotel! Thank you all for your amazing service and hospitality. I would definitely come back!”

“Overpriced for what you get. The view is beautiful but the hotel room is so tiny. The hotel front desk also gave us false information which ended up getting us majorly scammed by a taxi company. We felt extremely misled by this hotel. For the price I expect service to be much better. The pool also looks way better in pictures than in real life”
