“This is a stunning place. Our son had his wedding here 10 days ago. The grounds are incredible, beautiful lush gardens. Spectacular. The staff were very attentive, the food enjoyed by all. The pavilion is so stylish, just an excellent venue. I would suggest though the access to the bathrooms need looking at. There are limited loos, with an uneven path to access them. They are not too easy for folks with mobility issues. It would be good to look at this in future.”

“I stumbled across this caravan park as a very last-minute booking for Australia Day weekend. The booking said studio cabin. It was actually a one bedroom cabin. The cabin had a kitchenette, dining space, couch, TV and an ensuite size bathroom with shower. Clean and comfortable. The cabin is located near the office. It was the perfect spot for us. Still close to the river but secluded from the busier side of the park. Perfect for hubby and I. Our kids are now young adults holidaying on their own. This was our first holiday without them! The Steavensons river runs through the park. I would describe it as narrow, very shallow, a great spot to paddle and cool down. Set up your camp chair in the river and let your feet get wet. The caravan park is small and cosy. Thete is no wifi in the park and it's dog friendly We had a look in the games room and there is lots to keep the kids occupied. There is a playground and a sand volleyball area as well. The care takers were friendly and happy to chat. The grocery shop and the pub are just across the bridge. Not even a five minute walk. A quick walk up the street to fish and chips, the bakery or Cafe, a couple more shops and bars. We will definitely be back.”

“After leaving another local establishment that were downright rude to us locals and ridiculously uncoordinated, we decided to head to Rubicon Hotel to try and get a feed for 4 people. They were packed when we arrived so we weren’t too hopeful but to our surprise, this place was running like a well oiled machine! Waitresses were kind and helpful even though they were under the pump, Felix who was taking orders was next level professional and friendly, our meals came out so fast and were all top notch! Even the owner Darren was present and on the ground with the staff coordinating everything - a true representation of a versatile establishment that is worth its weight in gold to us locals. Thank you for another amazing night, 5 stars all round!”

“Paid top money for a camp site to only be flooded with dirty rain water that had no where to go . Everything got wet and dirty. Also man that was working was rude would not let you go to toilet until his finished also asked him the next day for screw driver to help us clean up to say no !!! Also said no dogs yet someone was walking there dog who was staying there . I love camping and was so excited to come to here for Christmas. Very disappointed on the camp grounds ! Everyone had to leave Christmas Eve , had to get motel for are rest of our holidays”
