“I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. The sales person is an amazing employee that is always willing to help. The housekeeping staff and supervisor are always willing to go out of their way to make sure that everything is in order. The rooms are absolutely always clean. I truly appreciate the welcome notes and towel animals that are placed in the room. That is a wonderful touch and the kids always love it”

“Nice breakfast but get there early; weekdays 6:30 to 9:00 am. We got there at 8:30 am and food was lukewarm and many items were almost gone. Rooms are nicely appointed but worn and furniture needs refinishing. The hotel is uniquely located right on the UC campus. The location is ideal whether you are visiting the UC campus, the retirement community or another area around Davis, CA. You can walk out a back door and be in the midst of the Environmental Horticultural area of the campus. There are interesting walking trails through a native plant botanical garden including a creek and Stafford Lake. Contrary to some reviews, the hotel is NOT a dump. Though the furniture in the rooms needs an upgrade we found the rooms clean and comfortable. The location is convenient.”

“Thermostat heater is not working and super flaky. Had to use my own space heater in room. Fridge is just for decoration as it doesn’t operate at all, it was connected. My food went bad and drinks would have been better off left outside in car. Seeking refund or partial refund. Don’t stay in room 210”

“Very clean. King suite was very spacious. Bed was tall but very comfortable. Plenty of convenient outlets. The continental breakfast was basic but done well. Great service - They were able to accommodate an early check-in and luggage storage.”
