“Great hotel. The staff is formidable! They are professional, helpful, and always nice. They are the reason I keep coming back. The breakfast is also excellent: substantial, made with fresh ingredients, great coffee. The rooms are overall ok and the beds are quite comfortable too. The location is great: there’s a beach across the road, the train station to Naples is nearby (yet I’ve never heard the trains), and there’s a vast choice of great restaurants within a few minutes’ walk.”

“This was a working trip. In the middle of nowhere. Approximately 20 euros to Pozzouli and 20 back by Taxi. It can get expensive over a week. The hotel doesn't offer evening meals which is why you need to travel, unless you have a car. But otherwise the rooms are quite nice and the room cleaning service were spot on. Made bed and changed towels every day while I was at work. Everything was neat, clean and tidy. Would I stay again? No, but only because for the location it is in. Though you do get a cracking view of the hills and valley. Everyone was friendly and polite and welcomed us. Many thanks.....room 302”

“A few things. This property boasts a fantastic location overlooking the sea (if you are fortunate enough to get a room that has the view). It has convenient gated parking adjacent to the hotel which - if you are staying long term - can certainly support the ease of packing and unpacking from your car. It's central location gives you quick access by foot to the old city and to the walkable path along the sea. Located fairly close to a few supermarkets and restaurants. So, from a location standpoint it hits the mark. The edifice itself: I score this as a "below par" experience. The first impression I got when entering the building that it was dirty and weathered. The rooms, while very quaint and with a lot of potential, just are in need of overhaul and maintenance. Everything from the electric sockets, to in-house hairdryer, to two twin-size beds combined to make one queen sized bed are just out of order for a building which could really be the top of the line if maintained properly. The walls are just all scuffed up with "war battles" from the many guests past, and it makes it a complete eyesore. The room furniture is dirty and weathered. Not maintained. It took me over 30 mins to enter my room because the door lock was not working properly, a clear sign that it needed to be replaced. Hot water: excellent Air conditioning: excellent Linens - excellent (cotton) But the rest is just a bit too roadway "motel-ish" to be considered for the price they charge. The silver lining is the STAFF. Despite the conditions of the physical property, the staff does everything you try to help. A true saving grace which helped tilt the rating from a 1 to a 3 overall. If they had a negative attitude, the rating of this place would most likely be in the negative. All depends on what you want and how you are going to use the room, but to me, a lot of improvement is needed to bring this place to acceptable levels.”

“Highly recommend! Very friendly and welcoming staff who helped with any query. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed in the Junior Suite and wow… beautifully decorated, comfy bed and the terrace had the most beautiful views. We are both vegan, however the restaurant on the terrace were able to make us a special dish which was so delicious! I would recommend having a car to get around, as it’s slightly isolated - but that’s a reason we loved it as it was quiet and secure. Also, the location meant Pompeii and Naples, and then Miseno beach were equidistant. We hope to come again and thank you!”

“Worst hotel ive ever stayed in and ive worked in third world countries. Where do i start..... Arrived and checked in okay although the receptionist didnt seem to care at all. Place is basically a building site, i dont know if its getting refurbished (better just to knock it down) or just rin down. Shouldn't have guest staying in these rooms if there building work next door. See pictures of corridor Wifi wasnt working at all and when i explained to reception all they said was there computer was working okay. I had no mobile signal in my room so essentially was unreachable and was here on business so didn't help. The restaurant has a sushi restaurant 🤢🤮 that played loud music that stopped me sleeping until it closed as rooms are right above. Breakfast was appalling, bread rolls were rock hard, ham was clearly from a tin and badly chopped. When i decided to order a takeaway for lunch the receptionist stopped me and said i couldn't take my food to the room 😡😲 Lasted one of my 4 nights there and ill be leaving after i finish my pizza and review. Shocking, utterly shocking”
