The room was spacious and had a breathtaking view of the lake. You can reach the city center by public transportation or if you prefer walking then it is around 30 minutes to reach by feet.”

“My stay at Hotel Barchetta in Como was a mixed experience. The breathtaking view of the lake from the hotel was absolutely mesmerizing, creating a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were not only welcoming but also understanding, making every effort to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast served at the hotel was a delightful spread of delicious options, adding a positive note to the mornings. However, the major drawback was the lack of privacy in the rooms. The thin walls seemed to amplify sound, making it feel as though the neighboring room's activities were taking place right in your space. This issue significantly impacted the overall tranquility and comfort of the stay. While the view, staff, and breakfast were commendable, the noise transfer between rooms is a notable concern that potential guests should be aware of before booking at Hotel Barchetta in Como.”

“Great location. The only downside is no heating so was quite old in one of the rooms (we had 3 rooms for 7 people). The mattress was very firm, and I couldn't get a good night's sleep, can’t give 5starts. But super clean and quiet rooms.”

“The hotel is in a prime location. The staff are very friendly. The bathroom in the room with lake view was recently renovated. The room is otherwise simply furnished. The bed was not particularly comfortable and the duvet was only covered with a simple sheet, not wrapped. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Expected more for that price.”

“My friend and I had a truly lovely stay at Villa Liberty. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, the room was stylish and clean, and the breakfast was a really nice start to every day. We also enjoyed the spa facilities one day. It was about a 20 minute walk into town along a path with gorgeous views. Would highly recommend Villa Liberty!”

“We are currently staying in room 502 we arrived two days ago at 10.45am and we were impressed from this moment on, really welcoming reception who took our luggage and said our room would be ready for 12.30pm. (How wonderful to have an early check in.) Less than two hours later our luggage was in our room. Wow plenty of space, fabulous bathroom, and an amazing balcony view, such a shame it isn’t possible to share our room photographs as guest photographs have a true opinion. All I can say is the photos on line are a true representation, but it is so much better, and our balcony view is fabulous. There is nothing here whatsoever to fault. Nothing has been too much trouble, they even got me a great selection of gluten free bread, rice cakes and biscuits for breakfast, so they really do go above and beyond. We are here in Como to plan our wedding, so it’s central location is perfect, we have family in the area, and are constantly in and out, I think now in day three we have probably met all the staff who are genuinely friendly. We will certainly be back as our plans finalise and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel to our English wedding guests.”
