“I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Big rooms and I had an amazing bathtub. Thin walls, but that’s almost everywhere here I’m starting to notice. But nice calm area, serene atmosphere at the hotel, good breakfast and very kind man as nightreceptionist. Would stay here again.”

“Pretty standard for a 3 star hotel, but we expected more, especially since it was our honeymoon. The service is friendly but nothing extraordinary. Our room was very humid and sticky, it had a damp smell and never really got cool despite the AC. The door was very hard to open every time we entered. The bathroom was pretty small and the door is always in the way of everything. Our shower would also not stay one temperature which was very annoying. The breakfast is small and decent, free drinking water is always available. We really liked the location because it is central but quiet . Very close to the old town and not far from downtown. There are also a lot of friendly cats nearby which we loved :)”

“Por is another hotel that has copied BED with minimalist hotels catering to tourists who are between backpackers and the 4* hotels. This branch is white paint, which makes it open and bright. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is similar to all the other branches, a bit lower quality than BED. Location is quiet and easy to walk to food at the south gate. They have some difficulties with the hotel next door, so they have parking restrictions at the front, which is not okay for Thais who seem to come in big cars.”

“Rooms depend on what part of the hotel you are staying in the newer updated rooms are nice The pool is beautiful but some of the rooms are located in an old part of the hotel. The gym has a few things to work out with but don't work very well. Laundry service was efficient. Website description of rooms was confusing and frustrating on check-in.”
