“Beautiful camping experience! We went there for a night, but ended staying 4 nights. 46€/night, 3 people and electricity. The bathrooms and showers are super clean and spacious, there is a small restaurant that is perfect for an evening beer and maybe a snack. The location is 1h away from major landmarks: Dachstein glacier, Hallstatt, gosau, gosausee, 5 fingers. The ladies at the reception are so kind and they do make everything they can so you’ll have a great stay.”

“The whole poppy village is lovely. A great getaway from big crowded cities. You can take a ride with a tractor taxi to see the poppy fields and learn some facts about them. Or you can see a movie that is played at 11:00. But definitely make sure to go to the meadow with lounge chairs and have a bite & drink at the poppy farm.”

“Have now traversed the Wachau Valley 3 times whilst cruising on the Danube, and still spot new sights on every visit, The scenery is magnificent, mountain landscapes, fascinating villages, and castle ruins throughout. A place I will visit again and again. See it whilst cruising with a glass of local wine, then return with a bike to see it in more detail.”

“Beautiful place, friendly staff, good location and good food. I can mention that they took a lot of effort to cook 100% glutenfree and even with Celiac disease, I had no problems whatsoever. Rooms are very nice and clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are great too. Overall a nice ambience and atmosphere. Cute little doggie that walks around is a big bonus. 😁 Many (red/hard) hikes around.”

“This is a fantastic place to sleep and eat. The views are magnificent, the Brettljause is great and the wine makes it a place to never forget. The couple who runs this special place is really friendly and they love there job. It is small pension, with only 3 rooms, but lovely! What makes it complete is that the owner loves gin, his own made gin is a lovely friend on a beautiful afternoon in autumn.”

“Rented two bikes for a self-guided week-long trip from Linz to Bratislava (backtracked to Vienna to return bikes.) Bikes were heavy but beautifully-maintained and well-suited to easy, mostly-flat Danube cycle tracks. Staff was responsive and helpful; bikes were set up and ready to go when we arrived. Didn't need the support/repair but it was comforting to know it was available. Teresa Luger was our contact person and she was excellent. Note: free parking is available in Linz on the north side of the river close to the bike path.”
