The indoor swimming pool was also really great, and the children’s pool was quite warm. The waterslides into the lake were amazing, and the outdoor playground with the air trampoline’s were great. If you’re looking for a place to camp with kids, this is one of the best we’ve come across, having ridden across France and Germany. We came by bike, and they were very accommodating, and the price was amazing. Staff was super helpful as well.”

“Oh. My. Gosh. If you're coming to Rotterdam for any reason please please take a water taxi. We took one while visiting on a cruise and it ended up being one of the highlights of the city. Simply put they drive it like they stole it! It was hilariously brilliant fun. The boats may look small and slow but they are quick and they drive them like it. Zipping across the water and throwing the boat into banking corners like it's nothing. We absolutely loved it and found ourself looking for excuses to get back on. The drivers were also super helpful and engaging. Absolutely one million percent recommended.”

“All the amenities and more. Each form of transport is clearly placed so there's less confusion. Trams above and out front, trains under trams; buses above trains and across from tram lines. Also a piano to while away the time until your departure time. Lots of food and den haag souvenir shops. Lots of personnel around to answer your questions. Elevators one side and escalators on both ends to service the tram and bus levels.”

“Beautifully located to a small sandy beach ideal for watersports. Dominated by kitesurfers for regular beach tourists with small kids it could be a bit dangerous. The campsite is located a bit remote - next supermarket is located in the Workum village thus a small grocery store on the campsite offers you all needed stuff. Facilities are clean and heated. Can get pretty busy so a reservation is recommended.”

Services were all clean and tidy. Be great if they had a few more hot water taps outside for dish cleaning to reduce the build up of Queueing. Overall a great site and would recommend”

“We weren't technically staying here, but just down the road. The staff at the campsite were great, very welcoming and accommodating. The kids loved playing in the park, joining in with the activities like ball games, bingo, show and especially the train around the park at 630pm. The team who did the activities were great with the kids and also made everything multilingual so our kids could join in. They also went out of their way to find the women's world cup matches we asked on TV so we could enjoy them. A few simple parks here too, so the kids had a great time. Petting farm and swimming pool are walking distance, as is the local football ground HSC 21. The evening food looked lovely but we ate mainly the snacks. Prices were very reasonable too.”

“Loved the atmosphere nearby the beach. A small camping space with all necessary facilities. Wouldn't recommend for huge camping cars and vans because of the tricky manoeuvres in quite narrow lanes. There are some camping spaces with easier acces, but most of them need at least some tactical experience. Adding to my last review the plus point if renewed bathroom facilities which are neat.”

“Stunning beach with a lively boardwalk. Plenty of sunbeds for rent with friendly vendors. The sea was lovely and warm, clear and clean. I enjoyed a really good quality massage from Queenie, who was charming and really knows how to do a great message on your lounger for a very good price.”

“Not far from the beachif you have a bike or car. We had bad weather so left earlier then planned. But they places itself are big and quiet. The restaurant has only open in the afternoon what is not so great. Showers need to be payed extra, what i think is a little over exaggerated.”
