“Went here growing up since I was very young. Now that I have my own family I'm grateful to share a great experience with them. We rented a yurt and left the camper behind and towed the boat instead. Lots of good fishing and fun traveling around the river. All around great experience. Even my teenager didn't want to leave.”

“What a great campground. Our kids absolutely loved it - great pool, two playgrounds, mini golf, kids had a blast on the big bikes and they offered a nice continental breakfast too. Everything was clean and hosts were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.”

“This is one of the three visitor centers for Isle Royale and the only one not on the island. If you find yourself waiting for a boat or plane, this is a great place to burn some time and plan your trip so that you don't need to spend much time island-side at the visitor center there. They have the basic stuff here. Shirts, magnets, trinkets, books, and maps. The ranger staffing the place was friendly and chill.”
