“I absolutely love it here! I have become friends with lots of the front desk workers. They are all so friendly. They always work to fix any issue you may have. Definitely much better employees and management than most other student apartments in Tempe. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin; I can hear every word my roommate says when she’s in her room. I also pay the exact same price as my roommates who have walk-in closets AND larger rooms, while I have the smallest room and the smallest closet which is not walk-in. I wish the people with bigger rooms would have to pay more. But overall, it’s been much more enjoyable living here than other Tempe student apartments. I would definitely live here again.”

“I’ve enjoyed living here for a year now and will extend my stay. I’d say the maintenance service is a major reason why I’m still here. The staff is very friendly and responsive. It’s good to know the take good care of the units and people. Edgar has responded to our maintenance requests different times and he’s very friendly and knowledgeable. He takes care of things on a quick and clean manner. Derrick and Michelle are also great. I had an emergency one night and a Michelle called and arrived quickly. She took care of it and I was so relieved for such a quick response. Derrick has responded to other maintenance requests and he takes good care of things. I appreciate the team a lot.”

“I have had such a positive experience living at Nine20 Tempe. This is my second year living here and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. My favorite part has to be my apartment layout. Nine20 has tall ceiling and modern furnishings, which enhances the appearance of the apartment. Along with the awesome apartments, Nine20 also has a wonderful gym and pool area. Everything is clean and well-kept, ensuring a positive experience for residents and visitors. I highly recommend signing a lease at Nine20 Tempe!”

“The location is awesome and a quiet area but the management from Gray Star is very racist towards disabled veterans and African Americans so just be aware that if you’re African-American or minority or disabled you will be treated badly. They also put this on my car when I was out of town and they have been told about being racially abusing my husband and the cooperation told me that they don’t care and I have them on the video saying that. They keep harassing us and hopefully we will be able to move this year. Also the last Maniger has been fired. Also it’s so bad that now we have people protesting the company”

“I came here from across the country and wanted somewhere safe to live without knowing the area. San Norterra seemed very nice and secure, but there's lots of car theft in this area, yet the gates never work and there isn't as much security as advertised. Communication sucks here too. We've sent emails without getting responses for over 6 weeks. We finally went into the office to follow up, and even then heard nothing a week later as promised by the manager, Jesse. We've had meetings canceled with no communication as I waited for almost an hour for her to show up. How professional. My neighbors were rather disturbing. Up above, I heard constant thumping at early hours. The worst was our walls shaking for 2 hours a day for a year because of a home gym upstairs. I was deprived of sleep for a full 12 months and had my daily life disturbed. Instead of dissipating conflict, Jesse took sides, talked down to me, and called me "sensitive". When the neighbor wasn't upholding to her side of the compromise and lying, Jesse told me to live with it. Very selective resident value... That being said, the apartment itself is spacious, lot of storage. Amenities and maintenance are amazing. The staff, like Andy and Brandon, is great! +1 star. However, the extra fees stack up. $35/m valet trash is the biggest scam, they don't even show up half the time. There is a new manager now, but the immaturity, harassment, unprofessionalism, and disturbance I endured in my own home speaks to the overall environment of this complex. My residency here was clearly not valued.”

“In a 2x2 and the amenities they offer here are amazing, they have in my opinion the best rooftop pool of all the high rises on campus and a nice sauna and hot tub on the 3rd floor. The actual apartment that we moved into however had tons of problems that should not occur for the amount the rent cost here. The apartment was not clean when we moved in (hair in bathroom, dirty floor, etc). Also the maintenance takes forever here. It took 2 weeks for them to fix the hot water in my shower when I moved in. Other than that the location is great, the management is just horrible.”

“DON’T waist your time or money. You’ll never be able to park. You’ll drive around for 40 mins and end up parking OUTSIDE THE GATES DAILY. absolutely furious daily here. Fix your parking situation Camden. There is no need to have every single spot designed for F250 when the average person has a car or small SUV and there is Almosttttttt enough space between each car to park an entire extra vehicle.”

“Overall we had a great experience at Steelyard for the 2 years we lived there. We broke our lease and moved out early because we bought a house, and the process was very straight forward... we even got money back after leaving! From the moment we dropped in for an impromptu tour, the staff was all wonderful. We were given a tour by someone who doesn't work there anymore, and decided the same day to sign a lease. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor with great mountain views. There are elevators on the property which helped during move in and out. The amenities like the speakeasy/pool/hot tub/gym, yoga classes, the board room and work space, and community spaces are a large part of why we moved in. When we got our keys the first night, we were surprised to see a welcome gift on our kitchen counter! Cold brew is on tap and right near the mail room and gym, so we quickly settled in and made a new morning routine. During our time, we had a few maintenance issues arise. We put in the request through the app or website and it was always taken care of within a few days. Jay and Kraig were awesome and always happy to help. In the front office, Gentry, Cerena, Kylee, and Jenny were always happy to answer any questions we had, make additional key fobs, help us find packages, etc. The package room and third-party food deliveries both were convenient to use, however we had the best luck after writing detailed default instructions in the delivery apps. The rooftop lounge and pool areas were nice for barbequing, and the facilities were well kept all around. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, so there were always activities to do. My recommendation if you're moving in is to buy a collapsible wagon and an electric scooter. The wagon is a LIFESAVER carrying groceries in from your car, trash to the bins, etc. and was used every day. The electric scooter is a great way to quickly get around inside the complex to check mail or packages, hop over to downtown Chandler without looking for parking, and just a fun way to explore the area.”

“The Park is kept clean. The office staff is wonderful, April is a five ⭐ person. The only issue is they have a problem lwith homeless people coming into the park and using the amenities. Which has caused them to shut down all the amenities ie....pool, laundry room, weight room and library at 4pm M - F and closed on the weekends.”
