“Amazing place and amazing food! Wide varieties of super delicious food 🤤 They have meat and vegetarian options as well. The lunch menu is very nice. The price is very suitable for what you get, the portions are large. The nan bread is totally recommended! You must try it when you visit. Also the mango lassi 🥭 is very delicious and matches with the spicy food. The decorations are beautiful and the people are so warm, welcoming and friendly. Definitely won’t be my last time! “Fancying a change from the usual German food, we thought this Nepalese restaurant looked interesting. Clean, smart and colourful layout, the waiter spoke good English - very useful to explain the menu! - and the food was very good, and freshly cooked. Good value too, at around €50 for a shared starter, 2 generous main course and several drinks (genuine Nepalese beer too!). Recommended.”

“waited for a really long time, about 40 minutes for the two entrees, and I wondered if the rice was cooked freshly :). Lamb chops, lamb flavor is very heavy, the curry is also very authentic, the rice is different from what I usually eat, it was the kind of rice that was clearly separated. Chicken breast curry, should be added coconut milk, milky flavor, with rice. Surprise dessert, this is really recommended, two are hot, one is sea salt ice cream a different flavor. The location is still relatively remote, 1.5km from the train station.”

For chicken Jalfrezi, I have tasted better gravies - but the chicken was nicely made - so overall it was good. All the dishes had a low spice level - would have prefered if they asked our spice preference - as typical in most Indian restaurant in EU.”

“I dined in with bunch of my friends a while ago. I ordered the Mutton Jalfrazi with a garlic nan. I was sharing the nan with a friend however the nan was so delicious that I had to order a second one. The spice level is authentically South Asian. I come from a South Asian background, so I was pleasantly surprised with that. Since most Asian restaurants I have seen here accommodate to the European palate. Also, you can level up or down in spice levels according to your taste which is nice. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and really attentive. If you like Indian food I would definitely recommend going to Chandni.”
