“Just visited this lovely restaurant for the first time today and was so pleased with our meal! We had started with a vegetable appetizer then had Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala with Onion Naan. Everything was amazing! The staff was friendly, the food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully in pretty copper serving bowls. We started with a vegetable appetizer platter, and then had Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala with a side on Onion Naan. The food was outstanding. I will definitely be returning again and again. I also should mention they have terrific vegetarian and vegan options as well. Don’t hesitate to visit this terrific restaurant!!”

“What a yummy visit. And my hubby enjoyed it too. Indian Garden is in a local shopping center anchored by a grocery store so has easy access and a convenient parking lot. They provide daily buffet lunches although they are closed on Mondays. We ordered from the lengthy menu. I picked a shrimp dish and my hub chose chicken. My plate came out sizzling hot with shrimp piled on slivered vegetables and a side plate filled with sauce. My hubs was in a giant pile on his plate. . You can order your food mild medium or hot. A large plate of white rice came with our meals. We also ordered an onion and cheese Kulcha and a plain Nan Everything was very good. There was enough food leftover for a second meal for each of us. Service was excellent, friendly and relaxed, and the dining room very comfortable. Price reasonable. Oh and as an after dinner treat we were served a small sweet finisher.”

“If you love Indian cuisine, you will love Nirvana Indian Bistro in Blue Bell. My wife went to Nirvana with some of her girlfriends and came home raving about their food and brought home leftovers. After tasting the leftovers the next morning, I called them to make reservations for our family of 4. My 2 sons love Indian cuisine as much as my wife and I do. The food is excellent and the service is on par with the food. Our server's name was Happy, that's his real name, and he is a gracious, friendly and made my family feel so welcome and at home. Since that initial visit, we've introduced our family and friends to Nirvana and everyone has loved the food.”

“I ordered a samosa chaat for takeout from here. To my disappointment, it didn't have any samosa in it, just chickpeas. I requested it to be made spicy, but they added uncooked green chilies. The quality was not great, and it seemed like stale food. I wish I could give them less than 1-star rating.”

Upgraded from 4 to 5 stars. The noise level can be a bit high, but not so much to disturb table conversation. Tonight they had live sitar music; very enjoyable. Review is for location in Merion. Note: they have monthly specials. Don't overlook that menu to try something s bit different and just as very well prepared as the regular menu. If you order takeout, check their web site to get that monthly specials; the delivery services don't always show the monthly specials. You can also order through their app (the specials appear and you can earn rewards points good for free food ordered through the app for takeout).”

“I booked a hall for a birthday party here and it was amazing. The staff were nice and friendly to everyone helping the guests with everything. The place was clean, and was a perfect spot for a sweet 16. The area is pretty big, there were over 100 guests at the birthday party and there was still a lot of room left for more people. I individually picked out the foods they offer for the entree and dinner. The guest were easily able to grab what ever they wanted as many times as they provided utensils and glass plates along with napkins. This is a perfect place to hold a birthday party or anything else. I highly recommend booking a hall here.”

“Ordered one Malai kofta and one Baingan bharta (both medium spicy) for takeout dinner on 7/21. The malai kofta was good, but they gave us some mixed veg curry instead of the Baingan bharta. The mix veg was not very flavorful and very very spicy - just not edible for us. Unfortunately it was too late to call the restaurant to get the order fixed.”

“Great tasty Indian food! Didn't realize there was this great place so close to the Navy Yard. My friend and I both had the combo meals which came with Samosa, entree, naan, rice, and a drink. I had the lamb saag and he had the chicken masala. We were able to customize the spice on each and it tasted great! I don't eat Indian food that much but from someone that doesn't eat it that often, this was a great place for lunch. Overall, if you are craving Indian food near Navy Yard this is the place to go and grab lunch. Worth the short trip.”
