“We loved this place in the past but unfortunately my experience to night has lowered my love of the place. The food standard has dropped a little from the past experience, the Biryan rice was extremely spicy for a medium dish and the service was rushed and not to friendly. I do understand it was a busy night in there and the restaurant is tightly packed. I was very disappointed to see an automatic service charge of 10% applied to our bill even though we were only two people. We hadn't even asked for the bill, it was just placed on the table without a word of asking how our meal was. Still the best Indian in the area but maybe that says more about it's competitors than the lowering standards of this previously well loved restaurant.”

“Great food great service best Indian restaurant and takeout in the area. Tonight’s visit 6 of us ordered starters and mains what can I say we have dined in many Indian restaurants all over the country and some of them in main Indian areas and the jasala rates in the top 5, the dishes never disappoint always delicious, if you want to eat in I recommend you book, if you dine in or takeaway you will not be disappointed, I cannot recommend Jalsa enough”

“Went here for dinner yesterday evening and I must say that the food was outstanding. The portions were very generous and the prices very reasonable in comparison to other Indian restaurants in Swansea. Many vegan options too which I was delighted to see. The type of cuisine they offer was familiar but different in comparison to other traditional western style Indian restaurants which I found very refreshing. The curry I ordered (Channa Masala) was probably one of the best curries I've ever had. I will definitely be returning.”

“Wow! What a great place. We went for a Saturday lunch and we’re blown away by the food. I had the pot roast red cabbage for main which was so delicious! And the starters were all so good! The sardines were a particular highlight for me as well as the crispy potato skins with a whipped cod’s roe dip. The biggest surprise was how reasonably priced this meal was. We had such a good time and felt like we had so much food that by the time the bill came we were shocked that it was so reasonable. We’ve already told all of our friends about this place and we will absolutely be going back. Would recommend booking like we did. There were several people chance turning up without a booking who couldn’t get a table because the place is so popular.”

“So my parents wanted to try this restaurant for a while now and they went for lunch but they were closed. So that meant it would be dinner was a go. This location was very busy lots of South Indians coming in to eat and once they came to eat they left and minutes later another group of people or couple would turn up. This is a good sign. We had a few vegetable curries, a fish curry, the chicken fry and dosa with mutton curry was all very good. Service was very good. I guess why I took a star off as some things were missing and I hope they have it for next time. The dosa was huge, the mutton curry was tasty and spicy, the chicken fry was delicious. The daal was nice and thick in texture and tasty. The eggplant curry was delicious my favourite. The fish curry sauce was nice but the fish flavour was a bit strong for me. “As soon as you enter this restaurant you know you’re in an authentic India restaurant just by the amazing smell of the food. The place is set opposite the estuary and its stunning. The food is incredible and the chef Ali who also happens to be the owner along with his wife Nooreen pay special attention to every detail and craft the food beautifully making sure every dish has its unique flavour and it’s custom made to the customers liking. They serve traditional dishes from old India and they are super tasty. The decor is wonderful and the staff make sure the guests are happy. I love this place and I highly recommend this wonderful INDIAN restaurant. A must visit.”
