“Order : Half tandoori chicken: it's so good. Spices are subtle but perfect. The chicken wasn't over cooked. Comes with this beet salad, lemon wedges and chutney. 5/5 Butter Chicken: not spicy at all. Good dish for those challenged with that. The chicken was so tender. The gravy (curry) was tomato goodness. You will love it. Portion size is better then most Indian restaurants. 5/5 Veggie Biryani: it was ok. The rice was a bit clumpy. The carrots were a turn off. Biryanis are usually fluffy with all grains accounted for. Tasty enough. Small Raita with it. 3/5 Lamb Kabobs: You get 4 in dish. Spices were spot on. A bit over done, just a bit. You will still love it. Not as juicy as it could be. Served with chutneys that are amazing. 4/5 2xNaan. 5/5. Very tasty. Complimentary papadums. Crispy! 5/5 Prices online are wrong on their website. They are $3-$4 more. Be warned. Will definitely go again. The interior is so pretty. $95 including tax and tip for above. Served 4 people no problem.”

The butter chicken roti is by far the best. There is tons of other options on the menu. Service is very good. I order ahead on the way from work and the food is ready within 20 minutes.”

“This was a delicious dinner, wow! We went as a group and ordered multiple dishes: samosa, samosa bun, Hakka noodles, khoka roll chicken, and butter chicken flatbread. It was made to order, and the customer service was amazing. The Hakka noodles were the star of the show, with the butter chicken flat bread in a close second place! All the flavors were rich, deep, and tasty. I would absolutely recommend it to friends. Another note - the space was incredibly clean and well kept, even the bathrooms. Both bathroom and restaurant are wheelchair accessible. Definitely coming back!”

“As a fan of milkshakes, I must say that the drinks were good. We got a berry blast and cinnamon toast crunch shake. The berry blast was the perfect amount of sweetness to a bit of the berry's tartness. The cinnamon toast crunch shake was basically the cereal milk in a milkshake (which was amazing). Their fries were also really good. The issues: In the pictures, you might see that in the orange box where the 2 can dine deal is, it shows classic cheese burger and double stack. You would presume that the burgers in the deal would have cheese. It does not and costs extra. The person behind the counter advised that when we came in, it would take 25 minutes to have the food ready, which we had no issues with. The burgers came without any scorch/grill marks, which I found odd. So after the wait, I took a few bites of the burger, and I was confused with the lack of cheese. Then, when I got to the middle area of the meat, it was mushy. I did not finish and told the worker. They said it was fully cooked when confronted. I could literally peel apart the patty with a fork, with the consistency of uncooked patty. No replacement or apologies provided. - summary out of 5: +1 star for shake and +1 fries, -1 for service and -1 for unclear branding -1 for uncooked food”

“Hubby & I were in Barrie for other business and found this authentic Hakka food last week. Amazing! Delicious! Located inside the Bayfield Mall. This is a family run business and they are so friendly. We came back again today as we found ourselves in Barrie, Ont again. We had Manchurian Chicken extra spicy, Shrimp fried rice extra spicy, Hakka Chicken noodles extra spicy, and Chili Chicken extra spicy. What a treat. Just as tasty and perfectly spiced as last week. We will be back again.”

We chose the a la carte menu and ordered 1 drink, 1 appetizer, and 2 mains. The food tasted very good but the price was on the higher end in my opinion. The server was great and checked on us during our meal. There is a $10 parking fee at the museum.”

“First time trying Burmese food and we enjoyed it very much! Chicken and beef were halal, not to mention the taste and presentation was great. The Khaowsuey was definitely the highlight of our order. The only thing I would recommend is adding the rice with the Rangoon curry instead of us having to order it separately. Now a days a lot of places that offer curry include rice with it since it's not really something you can enjoy without a bit of rice (imo) The place was inside Bayview village and had a very nice interior. They close from 4-5pm (probably in preparation for dinner?) But the atmosphere was great. It looked very aesthetic. The staff was great too. They didn't rush us at all and gave us recommendations when asked. Though they did ask us how we wanted to split the bill as soon as they took our order. Not a negative point but definitely a first since we usually get asked when it is time to pay. All in all it was great food and would definitely come again when in the area! The pricing seemed reasonable too!”

“Oh my, where to start? If I could give 10 stars I would. We have driven past this place many times and always made a mental note to try it (and always forgot soon after🤦‍♀️). Last night we finally got out there, and wondered why we waited so long. Very clean, open, brightly lit, and fresh feeling atmosphere. Apparently they used to be located on a different street, but I'm glad they moved because otherwise we might not have found them. We were greeted with friendly faces and allowed to choose where we sat. We ordered mini samosas and onion bhaji to start. Chilli chicken, and chicken Tikka masala (commonly known as butter chicken) for the main course. I ended the meal with a delicious cup of Masala Chai. We have eaten at MANY Indian restaurants across Ontario, and not a single one will compare with this restaurant. We were truly rendered speechless when asked how our meal was. I know this sounds cheesy, but it's true. Simple words just could not describe how good it was. The Tikka masala was rich and creamy and melted in my mouth (I think I melted a little too at that first bite🤣). My husband says the Chilli chicken was amazing, though the sauce very spicy (he was WELL warned when ordering!). The mini samosas were adorable, but still full of flavour, and the onion bhajis were crispy and cooked to perfection. We were also given a small caddy of 4 homemade sauces/chutneys for the starters. A corner portion of the restaurant is dedicated to their homemade soups, stews, sauces, chutneys, juices, desserts, and more, that are for sale to take home. We happily chose a few of our favourites from the evening, and will definitely be back for more. If you couldn't tell from my very happy, very long review, this restaurant is a MUST visit. “Service was fast. Malai chicken wrap was good non spicy and tasty love it. Chutney inside wrap was so flavorful and great. Bihari boti wrap was 5/5 really spicy and yummy very good. Matka kheer was so yummy and was thick and had a nice milky flavor and caradomom taste. The chai was good but okay. And milo latte was very disappointing. It was 4 dollars for a small cup and was not even a latte, no coffee in it. It was just milk with chocolate powder. They could have at least added melted chocolate or whip cream but no. The atmosphere was nice. Decorations on the walls were cool and i like the little touches like the clay cups and the newspaper tray liners. The music is wayyy too loud don't like. And the garbages were overflowing not changed. Overall good place. May come back for the wraps.”

“A long standing family restaurant that keeps getting better. I used to visit this place frequently some years ago. Just went back after a 3 year gap.. and happy to say its even better than before. Nothing fancy.. its a small family run business. The dad used to be here before making authentic and delicious and balanced food. Now the son is there running the place. The dishses are well made and very balanced in flavor. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Portions are good. They also do custom catering for events including setting up food stations if you need. Not a fancy atmosphere.. but well made and well priced small family business with great service. Clean washroom, and they have frozen samosas for takeout. And the desserts are excellent too ! Recommended !”
