“We came to this hotel after spending a few days in Porto, so the quiet seclusion was perfect for us. It was so relaxing to be able to easily park our rental car and have the staff take complete care of us - from booking our Quinta visit, to a welcome port reception with cheese and meats, as well as additional welcome drinks, they had everything under control for us. Telmo at the library bar was such a delight to talk with, we didn’t even realize we kept him past closing time! During our stay, we hardly saw other people. It was just what we needed to recharge before we head back to the busy city of Porto. It started getting busier on our check out day as they are doing renovations to some of the rooms. But I loved our stay here. The art was a really really nice touch. We spent hours looking at all of it.”

“Very clean room, well appointed. There were snacks and a (glass!) bottle of water. The shower was great with abundant hot water and two large sprayers. Bed was comfy with lots of pillows. Love the clean style of the newly renovated room. It is right next to the Metro station, but to go downtown you do have to make a connection. And that is worth it.”

“Staff where really friendly and helpful, arrived early but stored our bags no problems, and key card was waiting for us when we came back. Was given a map and tips on where to go. Room spacious and clean, only down side sound proofing not great this was only an issue on the last night as couple next to us very loud from 3am to around 7am, would defiantly be an issue for more than one night. Breakfast great as long as not expecting a full English. Bar great served an amazing port and tonic”

“Great stay! Staff speaks broken English, but that's on you if you don't at least bring Google translate. They're super accommodating if you have to use it. When I left for my trip I realized I forgot my wall adaptor at home! The staff working the night shift was super helpful and lended me a wall charger with a USB port so I could charge my phone and battery packs. Great service!!! The breakfast was pretty standard, runs until 10am. I really enjoyed it! Everything was fresh and CLEAN! I requested a bathtub room and was given the "family" room that's shown on their website. This room has a bathtub and I really enjoyed my stay! Great water pressure and you don't run out of hot water. The beds were comfortable and I had a balcony with a beautiful view! I was on the top floor in the back, so I didn't hear any trains. The only thing that woke me up was the church bells going off at 9am--which I'm grateful for. Much better than my alarm! I traveled here by myself and never once felt unsafe. Very grateful for the staff. They also don't lie when they say it's a 2min walk from the train station! It really is! This was great when I arrived by train at about 10pm at night, I didn't have to walk far and the path to the hotel is through a well lit parking lot.”

“A comfortable hotel with friendly staff who are willing to go the extra mile to be helpful. My room was clean and spacious with a coffee machine and cable television including BBC World. Many rooms have balconies. Lifts are available. Breakfast is included and is a high standard buffet with fruits, juices, cereals, cold meat, cheese, breads, pastries and scrambled eggs with bacon type meat. Assorted tea bags and coffee machine. The only negative comment is that the hotel is situated under the landing flight path to Lisbon and the noise does penetrate the double glazing. There is little flying between 11pm and 6am, but earplugs are useful.”
