“The hotel is lovely with a great hot spa bath. The room is traditionally tatami setup. Dinner and next day breakfast is included. I didn't like the sashimi at dinner. It's too tough to chew. Other than that, it's all good.”

“The welcome is great, a shuttle picks you up at the ferry. Then a person welcomes you to your room and follows you throughout your stay, for dinner, breakfast etc... The meals are very good and the setting perfect. The bathhouses are great as well. We had two real beds and not futons, which is much more comfortable.”

“Stayed for one night to experience ryokan. The room was comfortable but a bit pricey approximate 28k yen which seem to be the usual on the island. The staff were very quick and welcoming. The only downside are the basins which are quite low for a tall person and the hotel showing some signs of ageing.”

“Going through overpass of a railway, you can reach this onsen ryokan. It is typical Japanese style one. The room has good space, facilities and clean. The onsen is managed good and has beautiful garden view. The food is Japanese dishes. There is nothing bad as Japanese onsen, but I feel a something to add at these. All is very typical as Japanese onsen ryokan.”

“This is my second time using it since I used it about 8 years ago. I ordered an eight-course side dish, which is rare in the Kanto region. It starts with turnip yuzu miso and thinly sliced stonefish, followed by red miso, grilled Spanish mackerel mushroom, fried stonefish, red soup stock, sea urchin rice, and melon 🍈. Of course, it won't fill you up, but there's something special about being able to enjoy locally caught fish while looking out over the Onomichi Channel in the guest room of a quaint inn.”
