“We stayed here for 1 night with breakfast. Definitely great hotel! Highly recommended!! First of all, they train staff very well. High quality of customer service. Also, all of guest can access to the lounge. We enjoyed their coffee and some snacks. Location and view is awesome. Sunset is amazing view from the hotel. Breakfast is unique and delicious. You can choose western style or Japanese style. They recommended western style. Egg Benedict was great. I’ll come back again!”

“Beautiful cottage & hot springs style stay in the famous Kumano mountains - wonderfully stylish rooms & high-quality eateries on site, but vegans and vegetarians need to order in advance as most usual offerings are meat, fish and fish stock only dishes. All-inclusive plans are unusual in Japan but nice not to have to carry money & pay individually at hot-springs & eateries around compound. Beds & linens good, but towels a bit thin & single-use plastic amenities still in use although signs of changing to be more sustainable. Very little English information, menus or signage. Nice & quiet with great mountain views & nice star viewing at night.”

“Very close to the falls, with onsen inside and out. However our experience was sub par. We booked directly via hotel website which was much more expensive than other sites. Our room had only ceiling AC and warm air stayed only upper part. Since we were sleeping with futon (on a floor) it was so cold we could not sleep at all. There were bed bugs in our futon (pictured) Dinner was ok but not satisfactory for what we paid 33000 per night. Worse, I complained to manager/CEO Mr Tamaki but he did not do anything and even tried to hide from us. They promised to send a letter and a compensation but it has not arrived after two months. Not recommended.”
