“Lovely and welcoming hotel, ideally situated in the centre of Cortina. Great bar and friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and well-stocked. The ideal combination of comfort and style, without being too expensive. Only two real drawbacks : 1) The mattresses are quite hard. That’s obviously a personal preference, but it was a bit annoying; and 2) for the last few days, a scientific breakfast conference was hosted in the hotel. This meant that the paying staying guests such as myself were evicted from the main breakfast room (which has beautiful Mountain Views), and put in a small annexe. This wasn’t fair, given that one of the main reasons for staying at the hotel is the beautiful views from the breakfast room, and we weren’t warned about this in advance. But other than that, the hotel was great - we will return next year”

“Fascinating 80s hotel. It’s like walking into a Time Machine… and end up back in the 80s in this well preserved museum. There are even functioning telephone cabinets, and bathtubs in the rooms! Despite the old furniture the hotel is very clean, and has a good breakfast and is literally at a few minutes walk from the old town centre and railway station.”

Not enough vegetables and proteins are available. Plenty of fruit. For a 4-star hotel, I expected the variety to meet all nationalities.”

“You get what you pay for. It is expensive but the place is well managed and really nice. The rooms are really well laid out. Very clean with great utilities. The breakfast is ok, a few more options would be nice, something like melon or other chopped fruit for example. The pool is really rather fun though very busy and crowded as it is shared with the much larger campsite next door. The staff are all really very friendly which really helps with the holiday experience. It is a short walk to the lake front and you have to cross a busy road but that is not too bad. The location is great as you are close to some really nice places on Lake Garda. It is really very good that inside the resort there are no cars allowed, this means the kids can roam about trouble free.”

They mention it as a 4 star property but its not its like OYO room (like INDIA) which cost only 1000 rs per night. There was no proper lights and even AC was not working. The receptionist was also very rude. Overall very very bad experience will never suggest to book hotel like and spoil your holidays.”

“The hotel once a prestigious design hotel, now it is passing through an autumn period. The hotel needs on all levels a big redo . The bathrooms are a shame - scratchy - cracky and loose tiles in the bathrooms. The tiny restaurant serves you an ok breakfast and on the night a small a la carte menu. Why you should choose this hotel still - it is the location and the free parking. Anyhow I advise to always negotiate about the rack rate price so it gives you the benefit of not paying too much for this once upon a time design hotel”
