Staff were super helpful. I can’t recommend Viva hotel high enough. Hotel location is good for everything. Public parking available a 2 min walk from hotel, the price is 2 euro per day.”

“The location is quite inconvenient, hotel is situated in the sort of industrial area of the town with nowhere to go. There are only few places for dinner. So called breakfast includes only dry croasoans and small cups of yougurt every single day. By the end of breakfast time the food is already missing. Some of the rooms are without windows. Do not recommend at all.”

I didn’t like that there were some days that activities such as weddings, birthdays or banquets were going on to very late at night when we needed to be up in the morning. The lights in our bathroom also didn’t really work. They would flicker, get brighter and dim on their own and it was never consistent. We had a small fridge, but no microwave to heat anything up.”

“Watch out! We got scammed! One of the hotel staff members working at the reception tried to rip us off bad! He claimed that a 3km taxi ride to the train station would cost us 80 euro. He knew a "helpfull" friend who could bring us for 40 euro, in the end he brought us for 20 euro.. Im sure they shared the money of their trick. Future travellers: Don't go here without your own transportation. There is no public transport available.”

“Best service I had on Italy. Host gave me straight away map of Capri and ideas what to do in two days. Lovely view to the sea on the north side of the island to eat breakfast. Room was very clean. Close to the port so easy way to move. Just know that the port might have long queues to bus and funicular so going around the isle from here might take some time. Island boat tour goes close from here and is worth to do.”

“What an amazing dining experience at Ristorante La Perla last weekend! I was invited by friends to a private 9 course meal hosted by Mimmo the owner himself to a group of 18 people. I can not even describe in words how delicious and beautifully presented all the dishes were. Mimmo came to the table as each dish was brought out by the servers giving us a full description of all the ingredients and the source were they came from. He is so passionate about food and making his guests satisfied. All the ingredients were fresh, mostly organic and locally sourced with many fruits and vegetables grown by Mimmo himself. He even picked and dried the chanterelle mushrooms used in the creamy bean and crispy cuttlefish soup which was the most delicious soup I’ve ever had. Another favorite was a savory cannoli filled with a cream with pieces of fish and dried tomatoes. I highly recommend booking a reservation if you ever happen to vacation at the beautiful Marina di Camerota. I cannot wait to visit again! Ula”

“I was there on October 30, 2022 with my son, my husband and my little dog. Dilapidated structure at the entrance with work in progress, very narrow staircase to climb with the stroller to get to the top floor, where we were placed. Everyone packed in like sardines. Good food and helpful staff. Non-existent educational farm, only a few animals to see without any guide. Then we asked to see the donkeys and they explained the road to us, but it was bumpy and difficult to travel on. Disappointment”
