“We spent only one night. Arrived early afternoon. Left the car at the nearby underground garage the hotel has arrangement with (2 minutes walk). Visited the old town, all walkable, pedestrian streets. Had engagement for the evening and next day late morning. So did not spent much time at the hotel all all. Chambery is a great city, especially the old center near the "castle".”

“My recent camping experience here was a disaster, and I would strongly advise against staying at this campground. The facilities were shockingly dirty, with actual feces found in the showers - an absolute nightmare. At night, we were plagued by an army of rodents, making it impossible to rest peacefully. To add to the frustration, the personnel were incredibly unattentive and unhelpful. On top of that, when we wanted to leave a few days earlier (because of the above) we were not able to get the already payed fees back (the computer didn't allow it ? 🤔). Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a pleasant camping trip.”

Unfortunately we only had a couple of days but it was lovely. Thank you very much for the great campsite, lovely ice Cream, fantastic view on the camping and vibe . “Ohh wow!! We absolutely love this hotel and the staff! We were a last minute booking for Christmas eve to 27th Dec 2023. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped into the hotel and genuinely want you to have a great stay, and the restaurant manager is easily the best host ever. The food is exquisite, we had the best Sunday Lunch and our Christmas day meal blew us away and made our holiday christmas very special. The hotel has an amazing view of the Lac De Montriond, the rooms are immaculate and the decor of the hotel is on point and we felt it was worth every penny, we will be back for sure! There is free parking and a short 5minite drive to skiing or a bus close by for convenient access to the slopes. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Can't recommend Hotel Du Lac enough.”
