We both had ham, egg with chips. The ham was local and the best I have had in a long time, thick cut and very tasty. The chips were excellent and the eggs were perfect. Although they were very busy the service was prompt and we were unhurried. Highly recommended”

“Bit dismayed on arrival that they had no record of our booking on their system, although I'd booked online and had text and email confirmations, all correct. Luckily, there were tables free. Then had very good, pleasant service from all staf. Nice atmosphere, food was OK, nothing special but nothing wrong with it either, standard pub meal.
