“I choose hotels that have working indoor hot tubs for personal reasons related to disability. I always call first to ensure the pool area is fully up and running. Ive had too many experiences with booking a hotel w/ an indoor pool/hot tub only to find out they are out of order or under construction. The phone person said “the pools have never not worked in all my years working here, but I’ll check” and then confirmed they were working. So I booked a room and arrived that night. The hot tub was not working (had an out of order sign posted) and the pool was not heated. There is also the matter with the clogging toilets that I see is a common issue. Everything else was lovely, including the beds, pillows, and the breakfast. Seriously great breakfast. But feeling lied to about the pool really dampened the whole experience. I was hoping the person would ask how my stay was so I could share. I believe it was the same guy who I spoke with on the phone so I didn’t speak up otherwise. I was hoping for an email to leave feedback but I don’t even think they got my email 🤷‍♂️”

“This was our second stay at the Ocean Lodge and we absolutely love this place. Our room had a great view of the ocean and was quite comfortable. The staff was all wonderful and so responsive to all of our needs. It is a beautiful, elegant and yet quaint lodge that takes pride in providing a relaxing and warm environment for all of the guests. We will definitely be coming back here and I highly recommend this place when planning a visit to Cannon Beach.”

“First off, for those in need to know: this hotel is extremely pet friendly. And, very loving towards animals. Absolutely loved our stay here. The breakfast attendant, Cathy is so kind, friendly and an instant charm to the stay! We noticed how she knew everyone and remembered them. Looking forward to coming back - and bumping into her! “These cabins are incredible! They just have everything you need and the restaurant is very accommodating. There was an endless supply of wood for the stove that kept magically appearing outside our door. And we traveled with dogs, one which got very sick in the car on the way and the staff VERY graciously took our personal towels we used to clean up and the dog bed that was a mess and cleaned it up for us. This was soooo incredible. Wish I could give the team 10 stars. Just an amazing stay. And this was our second time back! We will keep coming.”

“Great little place. Did not stay the night. Did not see any of the rooms. Did enjoy dinner there. Had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and grilled vegetables was delicious. Portions were huge. If you go, make sure you take the time to go upstairs and check out the history of the area and the inn. It's very beautiful here for Christmas Will be coming back here again. “My and my boyfriend stayed for 2 nights 3 days, we absolutely loved it!! Our view was beautiful and everyone was so nice and welcoming. There’s a little grocery store right next door, 1-2 minutes of a walk. Prices are decent if you forget something. Walking into our hotel room we were pleasantly shocked at how beautiful our view was. We also decided to use their hot tub which was of course gorgeous too. The hot tub room also has an ocean view perfect for soaking when the sun is setting!! Highly highly recommend!!!”

“We stayed there on January 1st for early flight the next day. The room and the hotel seemed well maintained and very clean. The check in and out at the front desk was pretty smooth. They provide breakfast and coffee but due to our early flight we had to grab a to go bag that they make available. It had a cookie and a apple. The hotel provides a shuttle to airport but need to give a 15 minute advance notice. Our driver was early in that regard but no issues for us as we were ready. It was very quiet there so we slept well. There is not a restaurant on site but the Hilton right next door has one. We would definitely stay there again!”

When I called and asked if there was any rooms available, the general manager was extremely polite and made sure and got us a room, when we arrived, they were very nice and accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. When we had to extend our stay, they made it very easy and made sure that we knew if we didn’t need the extra nights we wouldn’t be charged. All the front desk employees that were there during our stay always had a smile on their face and all very polite. The room was clean and very spacious for our family and two dogs. “Great hotel, conveniently located at one side of Government Camp. Plenty of places for eating and drinking around. Rooms were confortable, they had decent space for the size of the beds, seemed clean, beds had great support. Outlets were not so good to get a good grip on average plugs so be aware to check twice that your devices are really, really charging... Enormous lobby with cozy chairs in front of a fireplace. The inn has several amenities included, even a jacuzzi suite! Also, a lot of rules for guest visiting with sport equipment (they have even lockers for them!). I got surprised with the fantastic complimentary breakfast. Yet, there were not too many tables for seating. The machine that makes pancakes was a total hit with kids. Service of coffee, tea and hot chocolate were permanent for guests. Staff is kind and really helpful.”

“We stayed here on a trip through and the Grand was absolutely beautiful for its original architecture! These beautiful buildings are so important to keep for history and culture. There was some wear in the carpets/curtains/tapestry but with an old building it kind of adds to the charm. Each of the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and spacious, though the one bummer about our room was that the only mirror was the one above the bathroom sink, so with multiple people we had a hard time getting ready. The location was fantastic, we were close to restaurants , bars and shops. We opted out of the restaurant but were told the halibut was great. Definitely worth the stay to feel some history within the walls!”
