Kamon Hotel Namba ( カモンホテルなんば )
4.4

Closed until 03:00 PM

2 Chome-3-33 Sennichimae, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0074, Japan

“Great hotel with a nice young vibe and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect if you want to explore the buzzing nightlife of Osaka. We were only here for one night, unfortunately. Only 4 stars because the beds were a little uncomfortable with hard squeaky mattresses.”

5 Chome-18-25 Fukushima, Fukushima Ward, Osaka, 553-0003, Japan

“I wish more of the hotels in Tokyo were like this. Affordability, ease of access to the station, and the cleanliness/larger-than-Tokyo hotel sized rooms made this such a great experience getting away from the bigger city. There's storage under the bed for your luggage, giving you more space than the rooms without it-- you'd otherwise lose what little space you have to your bags without it. Plus, there's complementary laundry. The only caveat to the laundry is that the wash/dry cycle is 120 minutes, and the dryer steams your clothes, so some clothes come out feeling damp. But overall, I'd love to stay here again.”

First Cabin Nishi Umeda

5 Chome-2-30 Fukushima, Fukushima Ward, Osaka, 553-0003, Japan

“I stayed in the FIRST CLASS CABIN. It cost 7,018 yen per night on weekdays. Staff service: The staff appeared neat and provided courteous service. The concept of the accommodation is inspired by airplanes, but their uniforms didn't quite give the impression of cabin attendants. Breakfast: The portion was small for the price. I felt that 800 yen for just a sandwich was expensive, so I had some emergency food as well, considering I expected to be active that day. Note that eating and drinking are only allowed in the lobby, not inside the rooms. Room: The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, the bed was short, and someone over 180cm tall might hit their feet on the TV. Be aware that the room doesn't have a lock and lacks soundproofing (there's a high chance of being awakened by others' alarm sounds). Large public bath: It was excellent and very relaxing. I used it twice, once in the evening and once in the morning, and both times there were few people, and the hot water was clean. Amenities: They provide earplugs for soundproofing. Just be cautious as the quality of the toothbrush provided is unusually low.”

Comfort Hotel Shin-osaka

5 Chome-3-7 Nishinakajima, Yodogawa Ward, Osaka, 532-0011, Japan

“Clean, but very basic rooms. Was nice to have a window. Staff were lovely, breakfast is basic. The walking route from Shin-Ōsaka Station is a bit confusing at first, especially using Google Maps, but once you figure it out (just make sure you are on the ground floor and use the correct exit), it is a nice, quick, flat 5 minute walk.”

3 Chome-6-24 Nipponbashi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka, 556-0005, Japan

“Initially the room we booked was way too small for us but management was very helpful and upgraded us to a comfortable big room. What a creative and quirky place to stay! This MIMARU offers tons of board games and free soft drinks, and is located just across the street from a Lawsons' convenience store. Staff were amazing, especially this guy, John?? Who said he was from Vietnam. Wonderful, positive experience staying here with no complaints.”

7 Chome-12-2 Nishinakajima, Yodogawa Ward, Osaka, 532-0011, Japan

“The location is good, within walking distance of Shin-Osaka Station. Since I arrived very late, the restaurant opposite is very good. There is also a convenience store next to it. There is also a small bathhouse on the second floor. It is …”

1 Chome-14-1 Akutagawacho, Takatsuki, Osaka 569-1123, Japan

“The room was a bit dark, but the business room I stayed in was quite large and very quiet at night. It was right opposite Takatsuki JR Station, and the price in peak season was half that of hotels of the same level in Kyoto. There are a lot …”

1 Chome-10-13 Jusohonmachi, Yodogawa Ward, Osaka, 532-0024, Japan

“First of all, the location itself was right in front of the station, so like other reviews, accessibility was good. The room was a lot smaller than I expected(!), which was disappointing, but the communal hot spring bath was so nice that I …”

Henn Na Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi

3 Chome-5-2 Minamisenba, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0081, Japan

“Henn Na hotel is an amazing location with great value, a 2 min walk if you know which underground entrance to Shinsaibashi station and it’s situated in the middle, always short train rides or 10-15 min walks to the main attractions in Osaka. It’s also located right smack on what I call the Osaka spine which is a straight route up or down, down towards Dotombori and up towards Umeda where the giant Ferris wheel is. Firstly you’ll be greeted by electronic dinosaur receptionists and it’s actually disguised as a self check in kiosk, the process is intuitive and fuss free. Secondly, there’s a robot performance every hour in the lobby where young children will definitely enjoy. The rooms are clean and they do the job given its price point. Stayed there for 3 nights and they change your towels everyday, something that I appreciated. They even provide free breakfast everyday and every person is entitled to 2 onigiris along with a slew of croissants which run out quickly, milk, juice, miso soup. At night, they have a free self help cocktail reception ( yes free alcohol), no one really used it for the 3 days I was there and I had it all to myself. Overall it was an amazing experience”

Kaneyoshi Ryokan

3-12 Souemoncho, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0084, Japan

“I really loved how spacious the room was. It had its own bathroom and an awesome view of the river. There was plenty of room to stash our bags too. Despite being in a super touristy spot, I had a great night without any outside noise. They even hooked us up with yukatas, which my brother and husband totally rocked for a dip in the onsen. What I also adored was the traditional Japanese vibe of the place. Wish I could've stayed longer and soaked in that view from the room.”

Closed until 04:00 PM

1 Chome-13-28 Kitahorie, Nishi Ward, Osaka, 550-0014, Japan

“Amazing hostel. I was afraid that there would be a bunch of creaking and snoring in the room I was staying in, but everyone was respectful and the capsules had surprisingly very good sound proofing. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were really good and large with nice soap and shampoo in them. The downstairs bar area is nice and chill and towels are cheap.”

Hotel Lotus Umeda

17-8 Doyamacho, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0027, Japan

“This is a very solid budget hotel located in a convenient area for sightseeing. It might be a bit difficult to find for some, but I didn't have much of a problem. The amenities were basic but okay. The room seemed to smell like smoke sometimes despite being a non-smoking room, and the beds were quite firm and had weird bean-filled pillows. However, the AC worked great, the facilities were clean, and I was actually able to get solid sleep. I would stay at this hotel again.”

1 Chome-12-18 Nakamichi, Higashinari Ward, Osaka, 537-0025, Japan

“The facilities are clean and close to the station. However, it was difficult to erase the old feeling. It is a place where there is a high possibility of changing subways, so I recommend those with a pass or transportation card.”
