Kilauea Lodge And Restaurant
4.5
( 8 reviews )

19-3948 Old Volcano Rd, Volcano, HI 96785, United States

“Best food in Volcano, but you'll pay for it. Volcano has very few places to eat, and they close on random nights - on the night we went, this was the only one open. Be prepared to pay near-Oahu-hotel-level prices for very good but not outstanding food & drinks. Popular and good, though.”

Holualoa Inn
4.9
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

76-5932 Mamalahoa Hwy, Holualoa, HI 96725, United States

“The Holualoa Inn is a 5 star bed and breakfast nestled in the hills above Kona. The absence of city noise invites peace and tranquility into the Inn, and creates an atmosphere of harmony with nature. The room where breakfast is served provides breathtaking views of the Pacific. The food is healthy and delicious and served by cheerful and accommodating staff. The gardens and landscaping, too, are beautifully designed. My family will surely return!”

Volcano Inn
4.4
( 9 reviews )
Closed until 01:00 PM

19-3820 Old Volcano Rd, Volcano, HI 96785, United States

“Excellent place to stay, if you are visiting Volcanoes National Park. Lush green surroundings. Very clean rooms. It is very close to the National Park and has grocery, restaurants and gas nearby. They serve breakfast - cute papaya boats with yogurt/ fruit, and banana bread. Highlight of our stay was the manager Tabby. She was super kind, helpful and accommodating of our needs.”

The Inn At Kulaniapia Falls
4.5
( 8 reviews )

100 Kulaniapia Dr, Hilo, HI 96720, United States

“A wonderful experience. We could hear the waterfall (and frogs) from our room. We slept with the windows open, and it was delightful. If you’re looking for a 5-star hotel, this is not it. It’s an experience. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The staff are young adults who volunteer and live there, and are incredibly hospitable and helpful. It felt like a retreat, and a true getaway! You can also play near the waterfall, including paddle boards and rappelling. Highly recommend.”

Kamuela Inn
4.5
( 8 reviews )

65-1300 Kawaihae Rd, Waimea, HI 96743, United States

“We've stayed here twice now and really like this place. Our visit this year was cut to one night due an airplane problem in Denver, and we were disappointed because we really wanted to spend two nights. The rooms aren't fancy but clean and neat. They feel like old west but are modern and updated. I especially liked the large tiled shower stall. There's no AC but it's really not needed at 2500 ft. The breakfast is good and one can eat in a little garden-like area out behind the breakfast room if desired. The Waimea "upcountry" area is an interesting part of Hawaii, but you're only 20 minutes from very nice beaches if that is desired. The hotel is a block off the main road, but there are some early-rising roosters in the vicinity! We hope to return to Kamuela Inn.”

Kona Tiki Hotel
4.4
( 8 reviews )

75-5968 Ali‘i Dr, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740, United States

“Absolutely incredible location, beautiful rooms, and super helpful and friendly management. Authentic Kona experience surrounded by beautiful scenery and the sound of waves rolling in. Absolutely magical! Super clean and a lovely 10 minute walk to restaurants galore. We will only stay here in future as nothing else comes close to this incredible vibe. Slept with our patio doors open so that we could be surrounded by the sounds of the waves. Amazing! Thank you for the most magical stay! We will be back soon! Also, special thanks to Eddie for letting me use his cell when mine was not working and would not allow me to make or receive calls.”
