“This is generally a really good basic hotel in a location that makes the Miami metro very accessible. We stayed for three days and had only pleasant interactions with all of the staff. The pool looked really nice, and the breakfast was basic but good. We really liked how easy it was to get to the beach area, 95, and the Tri-Rail station. The only issue is that the room needed to be vacuumed a little better.”

“The standards have really fallen to unacceptable levels. I have been a long-time customer for many years, I only stay at the Marriott but I think this will be my first and last stay here at this property. The cleaning service of the 6 days I stayed, it was twice and the second time not even my son's bed was fixed, they didn't even pass a vacuum cleaner, the floor remained greasy because I had made food, which is definitely not what I expected, I felt in a dirty and dark place my husband even killed a cockroach. I always had the Marriott as an excellence in cleanliness, comfort and cordiality. My son got sick at night and I had to take off the sheet and blanket, but the reception said to wait until the next day because they had no blankets and as for the sheets, they had no one to take; so my husband went to pick it up, because I couldn't wait to continue sleeping only the next day, when the sheet and blanket arrived. Some people on the team (count on the finger) were friendly, but the rest.... They barely look at you, they're rude most of the time. I was not informed at check-in and to my surprise; I was charged for receiving some purchases at the hotel.... $5.00 per box, I went to question because in all these years that I ONLY STAY IN MARRIOTT NEVER CHARGED ME FOR RECEIVING PURCHASE, the reception simply looked at me and replied that unfortunately it is a policy of that property and there is nothing to do! I didn't find this information anywhere on the website, politics, etc. I understand that there may be adjustments to facilitate operating expenses, but cleaning and sanitation should never be compromised. Even more so after a COVID, dirty, dusty phones without being cleaned since the end of the pandemic; which should remain all the care of the pandemic. Great location for everything but it's not worth it; unfortunately”

“I had just recently stayed at the Manta Ray for a total of 12 days at the beginning of December 2023 and was so happy I made the right choice to rest my head every night. The owners were so gracious and accommodating every step of my stay there. I felt so safe coming and going, that being a single woman staying by herself for the first time in her life for this amount of time was so rewarding in so many ways. The view of the ocean from my room was outstanding. I saw the sunrise most mornings, and you are literally steps from putting your toes in the sand and seeing the ocean come and go at their beautiful oceanside Inn. Thankful to have a place like this where even through you are not family, you feel like you are because of the how you are treated. I highly recommend the Manta Ray Inn to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful, safe, and beautiful place to rest your head.”
