Bed was soo comfortable that we had to ask for the mattress brand to get one for our house. Valet guys were fast, respectful, very efficient. “The first thing that strikes you is your upstairs, you open the balcony door, and you hear the ocean coming into your room. This is awesome! It’s true the rooms are older and dated. But the value is beyond. If you need to be pampered and have a new amenities, the Ritz Carlton is off the way for 1500 bucks a night, but here for 350 you get the experience of a lifetime.”

“Lovely stay at HMB Inn. Rooms are small, and it helps to know that going in, which we did so no complaints there. Clean, organized, and wonderful service from all staff, especially the owner who was friendly and helpful throughout our booking and our time there. We were in town for a wedding at the San Benito house and highly recommend. booked the Terrazo room and the terrace was delightful, made the room feel bigger and allowed us to open the door and cool the Room down naturally.”

“This was a getaway for my granddaughter and I. Ocean view was amazing and peaceful, though that and the front desk staff were the only great things about this hotel. The TV and remote were both broken with the only working buttons being power, and volume. The floor boards were broken and movable. The sheets appeared well used, and dirty along with the occasional long black hair just waiting to be slept on. Pillows had dirt and hair on them as well. After noticing the bedding being in such conditions, we turned towards the front desk staff for help. The lady there was nice and offered us an extra sheet and blanket which were equally disappointing as every other article of bedding we had. The ocean front view was expense which I didn’t mind, but when I went down to talk to a different employee at the lobby desk they mentioned a full refund, which I later found out through a phone call based off bank statements, that I only received a 20% refund. We slept on top of the bedspread and didn’t shower.”
