“We stayed in one of the smaller rooms (Hastings). The only downside to our stay, if you can even call it that, was that we didn't have any milk in our room for making tea. Other than that the whole stay and experience was fantastic. Thank you so much for looking after us.”

“Never had a bad experience at this pub, beer selection is good, service always great, many musical events on here and there is a function room upstairs in the hotel area where mini events can be held, such as the mcmilllan coffee afternoon I came for. Set in the Historic Hastings Old Town, it is a stones throw from the beach and many other shops and attractions. Never stayed in their hotel rooms, so cannot comment on that element.”

“Stayed for one night between Christmas and New Year. Lovely romantic getaway. Ate in the restaurant. Lighting was too bright for me . Food was ok. Room had a lovely bath. Bed was big and comfortable. Lovely room. Breakfast was in the bar area next to a open fire which was cosy, breakfast was great.”

“Friendly welcoming hotel, with comfortable rooms. The bathroom is a little dated but was spotless. The breakfast was incredible. Unfortunately maybe just a issue for me, but my room must have been very close to the water tank or central heating. It was very noisy throughout the night, which ultimately effected my sleep. That being said the bed was super comfy. I'd happily stay again, but avoid room 23.”

“Great food, service, prices and cleanliness. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are very good. We had breakfast and dinner, food and drinks from bar were excellent. Room had everything you need, overhead shower and handheld shower in bath. Lots of lights, even one around a vanity mirror! Very happy to come back again!”
