However , this particular store is let down by extremely poor , amateurish management with crazy power crazy rules. These aren't all experiences that I've had myself , but everytime we visit this store there is always something going on , Customers complaining, staff shouting , tills out of control , products priced up wrong, Customers being told they can't do something when another member of staff said they could. Its such a shame it puts us off going here tbh.”

“Homebase is covered in different sections, and inside on the ground floor, there is a timber to drywall section, there is an desk in the kitchen and bathroom where the staff can help you to design your home. There is also a decorating section with an aisle full of paint and wallpaper. Also, there are power tools to garden tools on display. On the second floor there are two sides. One side is a kitchen with different designs, and the other side is bathroom designs and accessories. There is also a garden section on the outside with fencing, plants, plant pots, and compost.”

“We came to the factory for the Christmas Wreath making. It was fab. Plenty of resources to use. Tea and mince pie included. Before that we had breakfast in the cafe, which we had pre booked. Lovely Emma Bridgwater crockery was used which was lovely to see. It was a bit pricey but it was a nice breakfast. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We then looked around the shop. It is expensive and i didn’t buy anything. But I had thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Car parking was free which was a bonus”

“An amazingly easy process to get the kitchen we wanted at the right price, and all done with a smile! I fitted it myself, as I am a kitchen fitter by trade. I had not fitted one from these guys before. I was somewhat surprised by the excellent quality of all the components, and I love the fact the carcass’s are colour coded to the doors, (a nice touch as most are either white or oak coloured). All the doors/ drawers are 22mm as opposed to the standard 18, which makes it feel a lot more expensive than it was. All in all I would definitely recommend them to anyone buying a new kitchen. “Really disappointed with our order and now what seems to be a generic response to most people. Our shelves arrived but have a large amount of excessive machine/milling marks all over. No images on any 1 of the advertised shelves, mantles or any furniture show anything near the amount of machine markings. Emailed customer services and just no attempt to even rectify the situation. Only option is to send them back at my expense and then wait for a refund to be processed. We are not bothered that the shelves have knots, splits or machine marks. But the amount of machine marks is no way near anything advertised and they look like they have been kicked round a work shop, some stain thrown on them and shipped out the door. Would definitely not recommend.”
