“Dr Syed not only did an amazing job but he was so friendly, personable and made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process even though I was very nervous. He was so professional, experienced and tells you everything you want and need to know before any procedure. Would 100% recommend him and this practice!”

“I’ve only been twice - on the first visit we were called into the room in a very rude manner, making my daughter feel nervous. This was heartbreaking as she absolutely adores doctors and is always so good for them. Next visit, the doctor was again quite abrupt with her tone, not making my daughter feel calm or safe when examining her. Will absolutely not go back - the doctor may be well educated and know their stuff, but for us, the pastoral care was lacking. The receptionist doesn’t return calls or follow up with letters being faxed through when she says she will and she struggles to understand my questions.”

“Their priority is how quick they can get the appointment done and not to treat the patient. I had my app booked for 10am. The doctor called me at 10:05 and as soon as we start the consultation the doctor explained how they charge and how much medicare refund, etc.. I started explaining my issue and within 5 min the doctor said that she was concern with the time and potentially it would take longer than the 15min standard consultation and if that happens the price would be higher. I asked her to wrap it up and give me the prescription I needed so I could go away. I left the room and went to the front desk to pay. By the way, it was 10:16. The receptionist gave me a figure for the extended consultation and I refused to pay. She called the doctor, who tried to explain that even though the charge was bigger, the rebate would be bigger, so my cost would be the same. I told them that it wasn't about the price, cost, or anything like that. However, the doctor was 5min late and spend another 5 min or so explaining how they charge for the consultation, which means I only had 5 to 7 min consultation time with the doctor. They end up charging the standard price, but it pissed me off that all they care about is how quick the can have people in and out. My advise to people is to look at places who care about your health and not about the turn over.”

Rockingham Maternity & Family Practice

“Really bad antenatal care. The midwife and the doctor have negative opinions on birth and don’t provide you with any education other than QR codes for basic government advice on diet etc. They omit a lot of very important information-if you don’t do your own research and have questions ready, they won’t mention anything to you, such as risks of an epidural or what to consider for a birth plan (I was told don’t have one which is ridiculous). Don’t expect the answers that you do get to be informative or unbiased. Every time I left an appointment I didn’t feel good or positive about the advice/care I received. They also both run late, especially the OB by hours and hours, plus his room is untidy and dirty. I do not recommend this practice.”
