“The groomers were very adamant about shaving my boy after I rescued him(he is only 6 months). I only booked a bath, brush and hygiene appt. This was extremely tough on me whereas I felt like it was such a big change for him so soon. He is a doodle; his curls and coat are part of him and all he knew. I wanted the chance to correct the coat myself by maintenance at home before fully shaving. I had JUST gotten him two days before. The tech was not the most personable or understanding of my hesitation and only offered to either cancel the entire appointment or shave him due to their higher knowledge. I felt pretty backed into a corner. HOWEVER, today I am very thankful for the tough decision they forced me to make. They eventually educated us on why this was necessary. While they were not very consoling, Ollie is the happiest I have seen him. His coat is thriving and this reset was necessary. I am thankful for them. I do wish they could be more empathetic to a new dog mom. I am learning as well. Will likely return and big thanks to them for doing a great styling job with the shave.”

What should have been a simple response like: ..”we can’t accept returns on perishables, but let me take note of your concerns…” turned into a barrage of how we had been the only people to ever complain about the product. He didn’t care to listen, and just continued his barrage nearly non stop until we said enough of this and left. Client be warned, don’t ever return or give feedback to the owner, or he will unload in the worst possible way. Will be taking my business elsewhere!”

Wonderful selection of cheeses, several nice options for jams (including my favorite Divina fig spread), and of course fabulous layout of all the meats. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. The quality of the pancetta is incredible and the spice rub is perfect. Very well priced considering the quality. We’ll definitely be back.”

The selection at City Farmer’s Market was just sad even though they had a Malaysian and Indonesian section. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that they have a decent selection of Malay products since Penang restaurant is right next door. Although this is a Vietnamese Market, they do carry products from other Asian countries. It seems like they’ve been cranking up their seasoning and tea selection in recent years. The even added new shelves just to accommodate more seasonings. Since it’s a small store, they organize by food category rather than country. (I.g. All the tea is in the same aisle) Tea selection: Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, British Curry Powder: Indonesian, Malaysian, Indian”
