I had the pleasure of speaking to the manager while he was on the floor. What a nice gentleman. He is very passionate about his store and about food and it showed. If you are looking for an above average grocery shopping experience with discount prices, this FreshCo is for you.”

“Among the Asian grocers in the area, Yuan Ming supermarket is a hidden gem that is often overlooked. I myself rarely drive by because it's location is tricky to turn in, I'm glad I decided to stop by this time. I often go here for quality meats and fruit. Their new renovation is an amazing and much needed change. I'm glad the vibe here finally reflects the quality, content they have to sell. The store is beautiful and still has a bit of the Asian hoarding that appeals to treasure hunters like me. My only complaint is the English is very limited and there is no hot food section. Though I'm optimistic because I can see they are opening a "mall-like" food court on the left wing. Can't wait to shop here again!”

“This Giant Tiger is exactly what I would expect of a Giant Tiger; a little bit of everything. GT stores always have a lot in them, so the challenge is to keep it from looking cluttered. This store does a good job of that. I needed to pick up some last-minute Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers. I found everything I needed.”

“This is my go to spot! We buy our meat here regularly. It’s always clean, organized and we are always greeted with a smile. And the quality of meat has never let me down. Everything is hand slaughtered halal which I love. All the meat is fresh and delicious. You can tell they really care about their food and their customers. I never feel intimidated like I do at some other halal butchers. If I have a question they are quick to respond without any hesitation. Highly recommend this place!”

“A clean, well stocked Chinese supermarket that had it’s long awaited grand opening on or about April 10, 2022 in the former No Frills store. Live seafood selection is usually very good. Fruits and vegetables are of a high grade. Parking can be full and hard to find during busy times, typically weekends during the day. I think they need to fine tune their selections a bit better for the Asian community. Example, coconut milk; they did not have many facings of it, other Asian groceries have tons of of facings in different brands. The soy and fish sauces, they only stocked the small < 300ml bottles. It’s a bit too Chinese focused, there is not a lot of Thai, Vietnamese, Philippino, Indonesian or Malaysian products, which limits this Asian grocery’s usefulness as a one stop shop. I’ve been there a hand full of times since it opened. I think they are slowly tweaking the product line up. The hot food line looked OK, but had limited selection. Looking forward to a broader selection of south east asian products.”
