“Ollo = Memorable Mistake After raving reviews about the pizza and other dishes, we decided to give Ollo a try after a Malibu beach day. What a memorable mistake. - Pizza was misrepresented by our server, funky taste, and oily. - Server was inattentive, avoided our table intentionally, and didn’t provide any solutions when bringing up concerns regarding food other than “Yeah that’s what I meant about the toppings”, and walked away. We never even knew his name until the end of the meal. - Drink server spilled cocktail drink all over the table. Granite, accidents happen but no efforts were made to replace the drink/address it following the incident. As well as, the table didn’t sit remotely level to begin with. The other cocktail drink we had wasn’t even properly mixed. - Bathrooms were unsanitary with urine all over the floor. - Manager (which who we never were informed his name), didn’t provide much of a resolution other than adjusting the bill for the cocktail drink. - Nearly every menu item is overpriced compared to surrounding market analysis/competition. To sum up the dismaying evening, we left the establishment hungry and disappointed. We won’t be back.”

“Damn, Whole Foods, you'd better just step aside. Mother's Market and Kitchen is one of the nicest healthy grocery stores I've ever visited. I went to the Signal Hill location with a friend the other day (it was my first time shopping there), and was really impressed with the cleanliness of the store, the crisp merchandising, and the prices. Kind of a smaller store, but the selection was outstanding. Again, compared to WFM, it was very reasonable. We shared a quick snack of prepared lasagna, and it was as good as anything you'd get in a restaurant, at half the price. We also enjoyed some delicious peanut butter cookies. I love that they strongly discourage solicitors outside the front door, which was very refreshing. There's ample parking and there's also a nice outdoor dining area. Glad to know they're in the Long Beach area now!”

“I finally got a chance to visit during Smorgasburg, and I wish I had gone sooner. Somewhat difficult to find, ROW is tucked back where the old American Apparel warehouses are. Part of its concealment is due to the huge parking structure that offers 2 hours free parking -- a nice touch. The adaptive reuse of the area is tastefully done and offers the perfect setting for something like Smorgasburg. Go on Sunday between noon and 4 to enjoy a cheap weekend activity.”

“Where I'm from, we didn't have a Sprouts. It was very far, but living here I was excited to see a Sprouts so close to us. It was very large with a lot more products that caught my attention. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the products available were well stocked. The store was clean, even for being busy. It wasn't crowded though, and I found more than I planned for!”

Allan offers exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond to make sure you're buying something you're happy with and that is personal to you. He even offered us to smoke some hookahs he prepared while we browse the shop. The hookahs are well made with almost all having stainless steel downstems which helps avoid rust issues when left with water in base. All hookahs have diffusers and come as complete sets with bowl, hose, and mouth piece. We bought the Pasha model. It has an incredible open draw, beautiful design, and smokes really clean. We added the diamond bowl which heats pretty well and comes with it's own heat management top. They also have all you need for hookah accessories, and all the supplies are super affordable, so you can buy everything and fire it up the same day. Thank you MobHookah and Allan.”

“First time for me! Walk in and scan your Amazon code when you enter. If you don’t have an app and want to experience the store. They welcome you too! There is a separate push door without scanning an app! Walk around and put it whatever you want in your cart. You’d get charged as you put it in your cart. There’s cameras everywhere so that’s how they know which items you grab. When you take it out, they’ll know too! Of course, check your receipt later! Scan on your way out. The receipt does not get to you till hours later. Not sure how it would work if there was an error though. If you are a shopper that doesn’t have an Amazon account, just go straight to the cashier! They’d be able to help you check out. Prices: they do have deals! And a lot of the produce are very standard pricing. Some things are more expensive though. Food: they have warm and cold food available! I would have to go back and try it. They do have raw fish.”

I used to work a few miles away from Elat Market and know this area pretty well. Parking can be a hassle since this area is always so busy. Many bakeries, restaurants, and stores are on the same side of the street. It's also hectic inside the market (people push you out of their way with their shopping cart). If you must shop here, come early on a Sunday morning. That will make your shopping experience much smoother.”

“Enjoyed a lovely happy hour here on a Saturday evening after the midsummer Halloween convention. The flatbreads were all $10 and we had the short rib which was good. The appetizers were half price, great deal. The brussel sprouts were very unique compared to anywhere else I've tried. The ahi tuna tostadas were also very good, would order again. Drinks were strong and good👍 surprisingly not too crowded which was nice too. We got to see people walking from the convention center in their costumes which was fun. Nice staff!”
