“Rustic pub that marries old school rustic charm with a cosy atmosphere & friendly, efficient service. Food in the restaurant upstairs is excellent. They do have an extensive whiskey collection but it is very expensive across the board. Need a better selection of Irish craft beers on tap / in the fridge however - there was just one single independent beer available outside of the big breweries :/”

“Fantastic atmosphere and location. Get very crowded at dinner hours, but that's not a problem, the staff here are very attentive! The food was okay except the fishcakes get a little mushy, not my favourite. Other than that, the pork rib and Irish stew tastes almost perfect!”

“What a wonderful place. Stopped in because they had outdoor seating and it was a beautiful day and we needed a pint. We weren't expecting to be treated with the BEST service ever! Thank you Brian aka Sean . It was a pleasure to meet Blue, Ollie and Buster as well. This is a definite must stop place in Dublin! Try a black and tan, I understand they take 10 minutes to make but it sure didn't seem like it!”

“Absolutely amazed by this place. If you want to have a panaromic view of Dublin city then this is the place to be. The upward climb has two routes, one is a steep climb which will take you around 15 to 20 minutes to reach and the other climb involves a sloped road which should take about 40 minutes. But overall, the climb will be worth it once you reach the top. Would recommend to carry a bottle of water cos you'll be needing one when you reach on top.”

I was drinking non-alcoholic beer and it was very expensive (much more so than I have paid in other bars not in the city centre!)”
