1934 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60613, United States

“Long-overdue 5 star review for the Globe. We love coming here for Arsenal matches. Staff takes great care of us (shout out Claire, Johnny, and Adam) and we’re always happy with the food and drink.”

The Galway Arms
4.4

Closed until 10:00 AM

2442 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60614, United States

“We went here to watch the Norte Dame game. Great place! They have a big beer selection. They have Coke products. We started with the sausage rolls and pretzel. Both were good. I really loved the cheese that came with the pretzel. I had the chicken wrap with french fries. It was okay. They do give you big portions. The staff was quick and friendly. I also loved the decor.”

Finn Mccool's Irish Sports Pub Schaumburg
4.1
( 8 reviews ) $$

1941 E Algonquin Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173, United States

“Spent $25 on a sandwich and a drink just seems not right for just above mediocre food Server was nice, but seemed like she was just doing her due diligence not more than that. It’s a good place to hang out but I wouldn’t recommend their food or drinks. It’s not amazing but it’s definitely not the worst thing that I’ve ever had.”

River Shannon
4.5
( 8 reviews )

425 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60614, United States

“River Shannon is a nice open-air bar that maybe has the best dogs in Lincoln Park. As you ascend the steps to walk in, the bar's main dog, Callie, immediately rolls over for pets as your entrance fee. She will then lightly bark at other patrons for more pets, and she loves other dogs. They have a full beer, wine, and liquor menu, and while the bartender who served us was fairly inexperienced in making cocktails, he did express interest in how he did and wanted to know how he could do better in a non-intrusive way. Music was a little bit too loud for my tastes, but the atmosphere was that of a bunch of close-knit Chicagoans enjoying the beautiful weather and each other's company. I'm not certain if there was food there or not so I didn't rate them for that. The bar is extremely well-kept and clean, the woodwork is beautiful and was obviously done by an old-school artisan, and the outdoor seating was plentiful but packed. Still, you got a great breeze from outside through the wonderfully open layout. Highly recommended.”

Standard Bar And Grill
4.2

1332 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622, United States

“Nice place to watch boxing or whatever you like, a lot of big tv’s and the food is tasty. 10/10. I’m here for the first time but definitely not the last. Looks like I’ve found my favourite place in Chicago to watch UFC/Boxing! The only disappointment of the evening - Deontay Wilder’s performance 😔😥👎 …”
