“It's been a while since I've eaten so gloriously good. Top notch: black home made tagliatelle in mango puree with shrimps - purrr purrr! With a glass of traminec wine. The freshest drink so far: "Osiječko radler crni" = black radler. The house pumpkin soup is also great. Sweets are fresh, melting and crusting in mouth. Staff takes care of food and of guests, as it should be everywhere. The place is a bit noisy, yet pleasant. Direct view into the kitchen - bold step! Good job, yall! Keep it up like this!”

“The liver with polenta was excellent. We had a cooked octopus as well which was just phenomenal. Only the broccoli soup was a bit too salty, but overall an excellent experience, highly professional and knowledgeable staff and a good vibe. Highly recommended.”

“Our previous visits few years ago were good, Unfortunately this year it has changed there a lot. We have a recent bad experience from beginning of July. The staff there obviously wanted to give us different prices. The firet waiter was really impolite and he refused to give us food from the menu and he mentioned it is just for people working there, which is not true, we had it many times before. Surprisingly, when we asked the other waiter he didn't have any problem to bring it to us. We don't know what to think about this incident. The food was not bad, but different (not so good) quality than we remember from previous years. If we ever come to this place again we will be more careful about how the waiter deals with us.”

“Kralj Matjaž is the best pizzeria in Dolenjska. Dough that doesn't stuck in your stomach, quality vegetables and additives (I didn't try the meat because I don't eat it). Since my last visit, they have added some other intresting dishes to the standard pizza offer, but most of all they have improved the service, which I consider a big plus. The whole experience of visiting them is now at an above-average level! 👍”

“Thanks for a great stay in the apartment! Our room was super clean and very close to the bottom ski lift! Owners couldn’t have been kinder and we enjoyed the friendly dog! We ate at the restaurant and the food was great there too. Thoroughly recommend”

“As a slovenian, I can say these is a tourist trap. Wery nice place. Service: You need to take time. They are extremely slow. From the sit down to food on the table 40min. PRICE: EXTREMELY HIGH FOR WHAT YOU GET! In the end, nothing special. The picture below is of mixed barbecue plate. And for 27e you get half of pleskavica :-). Wonderful. Typical balkan dish. 27 EURO!!!!!???? For these???!!! Wrong choice from my side, and I would never go/recommend these. I am sorry.”

“We visited this restaurant on our anniversary. It's a very nice and quiet place. The server was exceptionally professional and very friendly. We had the 10-course menu and each of the dishes was exquisitely prepared and presented. The menu makes for a very well rounded meal, with many locally-sourced ingredients. The price tag is as high as one might expect, so this is not an experience one can expect to enjoy on a regular basis, but it was worth going at least once.”

“Weird combinations.. Octopus and beans: super weird texture and taste. Pumpkin main (vegetarian option); basically only mushy / creamy texture and it was not very enjoyable. Not sure how the other dishes are. One thing I was surprised about is that the portions were actually pretty big. The starters were good. House wine was decent.”

“Good food and service, but expecitional high prices for mineral water (EUR 8 for 1 litre) which is absolutely unaccaptable. Restaurants answer to my claim was "we sell only 0,1L water for 0,80€. So 10x0,1L = € 8!!!. So if you are thirsdy like we as motor biker were, do NOT choose this restaurant.”
