We met our absolutely fantastic bartender/host, Carole, who promised to “make it happen” for us and our dietary restrictions. We had everything we could fit and it was all so delicious. “I came late and missed the cut-off time for Slices. Ordered 2 half pizzas, Pepperoni and Titto, both were amazing. 8/10. Super crisp, light with very good quality ingredients. I asked for chilli oil on-top, and they said they couldn't. If I wanted chilli oil, I would have had to buy the whole bottle they sell. Didn't like that.. The gelato is very similar to the quality you get in Italy. Pistachio was super rich and tasted authentic. Also had chunks of the pistachio inside. 10/10”

“If you are looking for delicious, creative and fresh Italian food, then visit this restaurant. Food is amazing, fresh and great portions. We don't live in the area however, we've been here 2 times and both times, excellent. My 1 complaint was when I booked it, I mentioned we were bringing friends and celebrating a 60th birthday. Of course, upon arrival, the hostess asked who's birthday we were celebrating and then placed a birthday sign in front of our guest. We ordered our food and drinks and our server then asked if we wanted coffee / dessert. I thought the dessert would have been presented with a candle or something. Instead, he just placed it on the table, said enjoy and left. Why bother acknowledging with a sign if you're not going to present the dessert with a candle? I felt embarrassed since it was our choice to go here to celebrate and it didn't feel special at all. I think our server tried to make up for it by offering limoncella to which we accepted 2, not 4. All in all, food was perfect, service was good and ambiance, rustic.”

Please keep in mind it's a smaller dine-in location so expect to have a 10-15 minute wait for a table depending on time and day, but the staff are so friendly and helpful in getting you eating ASAP. The pizza was awesome. Had the half Roni half fancy and both were so great. The pepperoni was spicy but still flavorful, not hot hot hot. The extra fancy was also so fun to eat and the flavors were huge. The crust was still chewy and crunchy and awesome. Get the garlic dip(it's not cheap but you get a good helping of it to finish off a pie!) Will absolutely go back.”

The ossobuco and the bone marrow is rich and tender. Slightly on the salty side to my liking. The cappuccino is delicious. Overall we are impressed and delighted to find another good restaurant that worth revisiting. They acknowledge the booking was for a birthday celebration at the front desk however there are no special celebrations or anything offered by the restaurant so I’m not sure the purpose of asking when I made reservation.”

“We had dinner here and the service was incredible given how busy the restaurant was. The environment felt super fancy at first but as the night got busier, we felt more relaxed. We ordered a lot of dishes to share. For appetizers, the tuna and chestnut soup was really good, but the carpaccio was nothing out of the ordinary. For mains, I ordered the mushroom risotto, which was way too salty for my taste. The gnocchi was amazing though!! Its sauce is probably the best I’ve ever had. We also ordered the pizza which was really good too. Before the dishes came out, a manager came out and told us they accidentally burnt the pizza but they’d make us a new one, which wasn’t a problem. When the daily special, the lasagna, came out, there was a really vibrant neon-green stain on the cheese (last pic). We asked the waiter what it was and apparently, it’s from the food-safe seal that comes on the cheese. The chef took it back, put some fancy salad leaves to cover it, then sent it back to us. Also, for dessert, the salted caramel was delicious! Overall, the service was great, but the food wasn’t worth a special trip for. (Also side note, the table beside us ordered the pumpkin ravioli which was supposed to come with a brown butter sauce. It didn’t come with sauce and they had to talk with the chef to get some.)”

The food was above average for the area and well presented if the flavours weren't spectacular. The various courses we had were all consistent and tasted OK. The place had loud music when we were there (10pm sitting, so pretty late) but the atmosphere was really good. We found a fairly quiet table and were able to talk, but please bear in mind that you might not be very easily heard, depending on where you sit. The staff were attentive and pleasant and deserved their tip - I was happy with the service, in fact I really liked it. I would definitely consider going back, it's not usual to find a good quality restaurant taking covers at 10pm (they close at midnight) and the atmosphere was fun. The food, as I said, is above average, but nothing to write home about.”

Upon arriving for our reserved dinner, we patiently waited for a few minutes before being seated. Host Sophie proved to be exceptionally helpful in guiding our menu choices and providing attentive service. The cuisine surpassed expectations, showcasing an array of exquisite dishes crafted from seasonal, locally sourced ingredients such as asparagus, zucchini, cheese, and fish etc. Particularly noteworthy were the delectable pizzas, expertly prepared in a traditional Neapolitan wood-fired oven—a surefire win for any pizza enthusiast. Positives abound in our experience: the service was exceptional, the food was impeccable, and the dynamic gathering of patrons added to the vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant's prime location further adds to its appeal. Notably, there were no downsides to our experience. However, it's advisable to make reservations ahead of time because they are always busy. In terms of any drawbacks, the establishment itself remains untarnished, but in line with other bustling spots in Montreal, parking can be a bit of a hassle. To mitigate this, I recommend arriving early to secure a nearby parking spot.”
