From the moment we checked in for our reservation and being seated on the VIP table, front and center of the stage, it was nothing short of a wonderful evening of Fado music and great cuisine. The service was Impeccable and the staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great suggestions that were nothing short of delicious. The food was fresh, professionally cooked and presented. The Professional Fado singers, and a quartet of Portuguese guitarists and a cello made for an unforgettable night in Porto. Strongly recommend. 5⭐️s”

“Probably the best local restaurant in Sao Lorenzo area!. We were recommended by a local to have dinner here. It was so go we came back a second time during our holiday. Good selection of local Portugese dishes comprising fish and meat dishes. The steak is great value and a single order could easily feed 3 people! Enjoyed the fish dishes. Very popular with locals so need to reserve a table as there is limited seating. I saw many walk-ins turned away by 6.30 pm as tables were already reserved. The management and serving staff speak limited English but friendly and accommodative. Pricing was good value given the size of portions and quality of food. I give the atmosphere 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the lack of tables and seating space.”

“We have a lot of great Italian restaurants in Germany but this one tops all of them. Deserves 7 instead of 5 stars. Pasta and Pizza were AWESOME, the wine is OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the service was the best we have experienced in a long time!! Great authentic interior and cozy atmosphere, no background music needed. Will come back for sure. Wish there would have been more space in my stomach in order to try those very appealing desert options”

“A cute place right in front of Aguda beach. The ‘outdoor’ seating area is really cozy, perfect for a chill lunch with friends or family. We started with some (very cheesy!) garlic bread, and moved on to tagliatelle alla bollognese and a capriciosa. The pizza was nice, but the fresh pasta was definitely the star of the show! Overall, a nice place, with friendly service and good food. It’s maybe just a tad overpriced for the portion size…”

Both of these individuals are truly invaluable assets to Astoria. Upon entering the restaurant, I was promptly offered a cup of coffee, which appeared before me in an instant. I must also extend my utmost appreciation to the kitchen team for crafting a delightful egg white omelette. Their culinary skills were truly commendable. The entire buffet was thoughtfully curated, providing a well-balanced selection of options. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find a variety of choices available to me. I cannot emphasize enough how much I value and recommend this experience. The combination of mouthwatering cuisine and heartfelt service truly exceeded my expectations.”
