“We’ve been to Pat’s a handful of times since discovering it. When we first started going here you could drop by anytime during business hours and get a table. That is not the case anymore, especially on the weekends and for good reason! We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversary and a new job for our son at this establishment. There pasta dishes are amazing. We always get the pasta flight. It’s made for two but we order individually, lol. The pizza is amazing. Not like your traditional pizza joints. They also have excellent appetizers. If you plan on trying this restaurant on the weekend make sure to get a reservation in advance. Like a week in advance.”

“Having been here three times, Abe Fisher was a phenomenal experience each time, taking Jewish Ashkenazi food to unprecedented heights. I’m so sad they are closing. The menu during my last visit was the “Greatest Hits” menu. The service was incredible, Justin was the best waiter we ever had in Center City. We started off with the Roll Right In cocktail which was magical with the za’atar finish. Then the challah rolls came in with the spreads, each delicious. Then came the roasted sweet potatoes and the heirloom tomato caesar salad, both were very tasty. Then came the latke fries which are the best I’ve tried. Then came the veal schnitzel tacos which are some of the best tacos my gf and I have had in our lives. Finally, the short ribs arrived. What can I say? It’s perfect pastrami on another level. Unforgettable. Last came the desserts, of which my favorite was the bacon and egg cream. All in all, this spot will go down as one of the legendary places I’ve been to. The chefs behind the kitchen are truly some of the very best chefs in all of Philadelphia. Really sad they are closing. Apparently it’s due to marketing reasons as Abe Fisher’s sister restaurants Zahav and Laser Wolf are typically booked a month in advance where as Abe Fisher isn’t. The idea is to reopen Abe Fisher in a few years with the right timing so that it can be as busy as the sister restaurants. It’s all about timing really, as Abe Fisher opened too early and didn’t catch the heat from its subsequent sister restaurants. If I’m correct, then I can’t wait until the new Abe Fisher returns a few years later bringing back the Jewish Ashkenazi cuisine to the scene.”

“Beautiful Baby shower, great food, wonderful staff, awesome atmosphere.” We had my Daughters Baby shower here yesterday. Niko’s Restaurant. The food was delicious and there was plenty for all my guests. The staff were amazing . They really made it a stress free day for me so I was able to actually relax and enjoy my guests and the party. The presentation of food , drinks, and desserts was wonderful. All the desserts are made in house which are outstanding. The party room was very spacious and I LOVED that we were allowed to add special touches before the shower started. Everyone had a great meal and a great time .The Baby shower was PERFECT! Special thanks to following services that also made this day Victor , Sue and Jess assisted by Deb. I am so thankful for Patti’s assistance as she made our party Stress free. All my guests LOVED Niko’s and had a wonderful time. Thank you an again for making the day special.”

“Absolutely fantastic Italian Restaurant - out of the way and severely underrated! We've dined here 1/2 dozen times and each time it gets better. First, the staff - Tony(owner), Louise, Abby, Giovanni, and so many others are friendly and courteous. There's clearly an excellent team in place here. On to the food - ridiculously good. Nothing is average or "OK" here, its all delicious. My favorite is the Seafood Fra Diavolo, Chicken Picatta and Pollo Basilica. The cocktails are excellent as well - If you don't leave room for the amazing gelato bar, then take some home with you. I cannot reccomend Ciro's enough.”

“There for a special birthday, seated by front door, and were comfortable even on a cold night. Would like to return and try the upstairs seating. Atmosphere was modern and relaxing. Christian was an excellent server and made sure we were well cared for. Food and flavors were amazing! Brussel sprouts were good - the sour with the Sherry Vinegar, paired nicely with the pancetta, could have used something to draw the salt, sour and bitter together (pecorino or goat cheese, and little black pepper maybe). Artichoke ravioli was excellent! The flavor was fresh, light, and enjoyable all the way through. Wnlanted to scrape the sauce up and eat every drop. Portion was peefect. Papparadelle posta was excellent and filling. Spice was warm and nice, not hot. Salmon was delicious, vegetable were roasted well, also filling. Gnocchi dish was delicious, and blend of flavors enjoyable. Our non-tomato eater, ate the tomatoes and liked it. Spaghetti Squash and Meatballs small plates were very good. Tiramasu and Custard desserts were delicious flavors as well - balanced and just the right level of sweetness. Highly recommend for a special night out. It is high-end, so expect to pay a bit more per person.”

“My second time in Rizzo’s. We had such a great 1st time a couple of months back, we made it a point to come back each time we are in Johnstown. My chicken parm was good but my husband lasagne was different from usual lasagne. There is no layers of meat in this lasagne but a ricotta cheese pie with a couple of meat balls. Lasagne tastes good but just different. Service has been awesome for both times. We will be back for our next meal to try other dishes.”

“Celebrated a 50th anniversary at the restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is amazing with the ornate decor to the beautiful woodwork. The restaurant was super clean and well maintained. The entire meal was delicious and the cocktails were nicely crafted. I had the beef braciole with their homemade raviolis.
