“Easily my favorite restaurant in Telfs. The owners/workers are all so kind, and very competent. The pizza is EXCELLENT. I’ve also ordered the cozze (mussels) which came out in a stone dish straight from the oven. They were comparable to the ones I eat in southern Italy. This time, we ordered the rump steak. Perfectly cooked and very high quality cut of meat. You have to come here!!! 10/10”

“Lovely “Berghütte”! Great view,there’s an inside sitting area and - for good weather - an outside area as well. If you have kids, they can play in the small garden/play area. Food is fine, prices ok (you’re in the middle of nowhere!), service is fast & friendly.”

“Absolutely lovely ambiance! It was a chilly day so they had the wood-burning stove running to keep the cabin warm. The waitress helped us with the menu as we only spoke English. The menu may be smaller than huts in the surrounding area, but the quality is outstanding. We had the cheese and bread tray, Knödelsuppe, two cakes and tea. Everything was perfect, and now I want to take everyone I know on a hike to this hut.”

The waitress relied this info to the cook who apparently simply forgot. They were sorry but we had to pay for the whole bill without any discount or similar. No recommendation.”

“Locals and visitors alike flocked here. We were lucky enough to get the last open table without reservations. The staff speaks primarily Italian, but of course they are fluent in German and English. Every single course was on point! Our kiddo fell asleep due to jet lag and they were accommodating in boxing up his dinner without us asking. The server was also the runner, the lady running the phones reminded me of our amazing Italian Nona neighbor. As authentic as it gets with the pizza and pasta. The only downside was having to watch the lady at the table across from us eat around her pizza crust — idiot!”
