“Cute little place, had the "fire tongue bowl" (I will not attempt to spell it in German lol) with the white wine, as I've had a lot of red gluhwein at the Christmas markets already. It was delicious, so fun to watch the sugar and run burn. And the white wine drink ends up tasting similar to like a hot apple cider. Yummmmm. Also had German pizza. Like a very thin crust pizza with pork and green onions. All delicious, server was very kind.”

“We went shopping for Christmas and we found this little place just behind the Obi in Rosenheim. Great pizzas, they offer a variety of it, and with interesting ingredients. I had pizza Rock and Roll, and my wife had pasta 4 cheeses which she could not finish. Dessert was Italian profiteroles, and they were amazing. Service is also great, and not expensive restaurant also. Will come again. 😃”

“We went this pizzeria based on the recommendations from the guy we bought tires in Augsburg. We ordered pizzas which were really amazing and definitely recommend them! Staff is really helpful and warm welcoming. Prices are decent. Parking a car can be bit tricky as most of them are reserved for people living in the area… One can pay with EC/Visa card but unfortunately tip can’t be paid with card…”

“The food tasted great. We had some pizzas and some pastas and all tasted wonderfully and were quickly served. Although the carbonara was not that warm it was okay and the bacon was well cooked and very tasty. Also the side dish of extra parmesan was appreciated. The chef waitress seemed a bit stressed although it was not too busy. The fast delivery and great taste made up for the feeling that gave us. The real buzz-kill was the smoking. It was a nice late summer’s evening and we sat outside and next to us someone was smoking. I know smoking was allowed but when someone purposely starts smoking surrounded by others that apparently don’t smoke and you don’t care that your cigarette smoke bothers others 3 feet away and down wind, then it is better when smoking is not allowed. I loved the food but won’t be coming back here because of the smoking.”

“The landscape of Germany is very different, the heart of Germany is full of middle high moutains and a lot of forests. There is many many wood, a lot of trees around these romantic landscape. If you want to know the real Germany, than you need visit these hidden heart ... just in the geogrphical middle, there you find the landscape called Rhoen. The pronunciation of this more like listen a deer in pairing seasons ... or like a song of Rammstein, but you can speak out so easy and soo loud as you can. Inside of these beautiful landscape you will find a very down home cuisine, made the best and well tasty meals you ever get in different countries. They made it from deer, from various fish and the best vegetables! This small restaurant is an excellent example, how to make good meal without any overdone cookings. Together with the high potential local beer or an excellent local wine you will enjoy your stay more and more. The prices are good and not overrated. The only one thing you need to do is ... you need find the location! You know it`s a hidden restaurant in a hidden landscape.”

“We had a business trip in Alzenau and spontaneously wanted to go to a restaurant for dinner. Luckily we chose La Taverna. We were surprised when we set our first step in. It was an amazing big room with a lot of green inside, warm and welcoming. It is quite a special atmosphere that hardly it could be found another restaurant same as La Taverna. Foods were amazing and we highly recommended to try fresh noodles, kind of homemade noodles. Staffs are very friendly and it seems like no waiting time for the foods. Just a small notice, if you are Asian or not so familiar with Bayern portion, just order less than you normally do. Bayern portion is always bigger than in other areas. So enjoy your time in the restaurant!”
