“I hadn't been here for a few years and randomly dropped in for dinner last December right before Christmas. Since it was their last day before holiday, the menu was smaller than normal, but that didn't matter - both plates were delicious. I ordered the Japanese inspired fried chicken and my friend got the vegetarian miso cauliflower dish with Semmelbrösel. The ingredients tasted fresh and the flavors were well balanced. They have a great selection of beer, rum and whisky if you're into that kind of thing. It's a rather small place, so better to make a reservation, even for two.”

“Went there with a colleague. It was absolutely delicious. Artichok heart, grilled calamari, oysters, clams pastas. Very fine, calamaris were tender and perfectly cooked, with the right amount of « grilled » taste versus calamari taste itself. Wine selection is not huge but high quality. Service was relatively quick, i was expecting slower since the cook is alone at the kitchen. I wish they had some dessert to continue the tasty journey... cash only, they dont speak english but printed a menu in english for us (menu was hand writen in German....).”

“Food was good but unfortunately nothing more. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was a bit oversalted and the fries were very soft. Game ragout wasn't 100% tender, but the red cabbage was great. Service was very friendly and always there quickly. Due to the open spaces and the narrowness between the tables, the noise level was a bit high. Overall it worked out.”

“It was a memorably bad experience. Waiter’s attitude was very rude. He didn’t listen till the end of our order but cut it and then left. We felt he tried to ignore our table and gestures. Even when we wanted to pay, we had to come and to ask him because he didn’t check our table at all. When we asked him then he sent another server to our table. He even didn’t contact to eyes to us. It was very weird because he seemed okay to other tables. We were an international group and it was hard to think of other reason than him being racist… On the top of it, I found a hair/fur in my dish. Unfortunately, when I mentioned it to the waiter he left as soon as saying “oh sorry”. I didn’t feel he gave any care anyway. About other factors, location and vibe was good and food was decent. Don’t expect fine dining quality but still it’s decent menu.”
