“Very basic restaurant located in the city of Darmstadt. They offer not only an indoor area but also a terrace for eat outside but the rumors of the cars in the street are very noisy. The Staff suggested to us to eat fish. The fish was not fresh and it was cooked many hours before. The calamaretti where flabby, the fritto di calamari was also flabby. The service was quite speed but the restaurant was empty when we arrived. It was not a nice experience, for us.”

“Ristorante Fontana di Trevi is a popular local restaurant. When I say "local" I'm not kidding. I only know three people in Frankfurt. I was at dinner with two of them, and the third happened in! I had a lovely grilled fish. One friend had the liver and the third had another meat dish that was savory and amazing. We waited quite a while for our dishes, but the wine kept coming and we were all happy.”

The food in the restaurant is very good, unfortunately the working hours are strange. It works after 18h... The biergarten of the restaurant works all day, but the menu is limited to Bretzel, Würst, frankfurter Schnitzel, eggs and potatoes with grüne Soße and a couple of salads. Basic, but tasty, and the beer is cold.”

“My wife and I were in Frankfurt to see my step son. He took us to the 12 Apostles which was not far from our hotel. He'd been in there for drinks with friends before, but never eaten there. 100% highly recommended. It was amazing. Fair prices for great food. I had the Argentine steak and my wife had the Pork Knuckle. This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. A table of 11 gentlemen came in and sat behind us, and it was one of their birthdays .. they sang 'happy birthday' to him and it sounded so amazing. It was also my wife's birthday ... she plucked up the courage to tell them and they sang her her too. What a wonderful evening. The venue was interesting too as an old monks brewery. If you are in Frankfurt, you MUST go here.”

The menu is extensive, especially the selection of pizza and pasta is very large. There is also a small extra menu with regularly changing dishes. The food tastes good and the pizzas are recommended. The drinks menu (especially wine) is large, so everyone can find something for themselves. Price performance ratio is good.”
