“I am surprised that this restaurant is not on the Michelin guide. Before visiting by just looking at the menu, we were intrigued! There, we had an amazing meal. The staff was welcoming and warm. The food was just brilliant. Their oysters are some of the best oysters I have tried in my life, and we eat a lot of oysters. Everything else was also brilliant! Hard to say which was the best dish. 100 percent recommended!”

“A combo of tradition and creation, this place offers wild meat with a modern touch. The food portions were generous, we barely finished our mains after the starters. The cold cuts preserved the aroma of different types of wild meats, and removed the odor perfectly. Each meat offered different texture and flavor, and the blackberry chutney neutralized the heaviness of the meats. The creative pizza was a pleasant surprise. The moose meat matched perfectly with thyme mayonnaise, and the texture was crunch with the thin pizza dough. Together with Västerbotten cheese and berries, this dish brought new experiences to traditional Nordic flavors. The improvement could be done at this place is that the service was very slow. We waited for more than half an hour to get the starters, and another half an hour to get the mains. Also the tables were too close to each other, we have to excuse our neighbor table to make any movement to our chairs.”

The inside of the restaurant is quite small so I recommend to book a table in advance. However the space inside is so adorable 🥰 Many pictures on the walls and a true Italian feeling! “Super place to play mini golf n have some pizzas while playing. Great for team activity. Super friendly staff that explains the rules so well and adds to the perfect humor. We ate the food at the restaurant and it was the best ever food, so delicious and yummy. If you are ready to spend some extra bucks, then do try the restaurant food(than pizzas) and it’s awesome. And cocktails were also amazing”

“An amazing interior decor, feels like you having a fine dining, Classic restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful. We went around 17 uhr , not on a busiest day. We ordered 3 course meal and some other dishes. Everything dish was nice and there were no left overs. You need to tell how well „the meat“ should be cooked. Lamm, beef with baked mashed potato are recommended. Falcon beer is highly recommended”

“I usually avoid steak at the restaurant as many restaurants cook an underwhelming steak, but this time I decided to try their plank steak, and I was blown away. The first sign that I was in for a treat was that they did not ask for a doneness, which is how it should be as there is only one way to cook steak properly, which is rare. The steak was so tender I had no use for their steak knife. Their béarnaise was also really good and so were the accompanying pomme duchesse. I asked for a wine recommendation and the waitress instantly knew which one would be a good fit, and she got it perfectly right! Regarding dessert though, the crème brûlée was nothing special so I would advise trying something else. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be back!”

Hillenberg is Ekstedt second restaurant in Stockholm and so it is a flagship Scandinavian / Classic European fusion cuisine. We loved the creativity of the dishes, the laser dressed plates and the great wine selection. Service was good as well but the room was a little bit too noisy. Overall a very good address for a fancy diner in Stockholm !”
