“Surprisingly amazing service in the centre of Utrecht. The place is cosy with a pleasant atmosphere. The waiter was presenting every dish served, with enthusiasm. The food is authentic italian with a high quality, not based on pizza and pasta. Antipasti plata San Siro is a must to start. Ravioli with beef to warm your heart and the chef's main was pork with asparagus, tinder and tasty. We enjoyed the whole experience and will come back.”

“Honest food at an honest price, which is hard to find these days. Kind of kickback, nostalgic food and (luckily) no 4-5-6-course extravaganzas. Would have ordered most things on the menu, which is normally not the case. Not surprisingly a lot of men in the crowd. We had shrimp cocktails and steaks with a decent house wine. Friendly, competent service too. They are usually fully booked on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which says it ALL.”

“Incredible food and very nice and friendly staff. It was very loud inside though, so they could work on the acoustics. Also it was quite warm inside but there was no option to open a window. Then again, the most important things are the food and the service, which were both great! And the dining area looks incredible as well.”

“Lovely place with nice outdoor area to sit quity. Pleasant for a business lunch. The menu is a bit is a mystery with both broodje croquet as well as a chef tasting menu. It makes you wonder. The chef tasting was decent although do not expect bib gourmond level. Started good but dipped with the second dish lacking visual appeal as well as a bit of a pot pori in taste. Picked up a bit with the desert. Fitted the purpose: lunch that was at least half way decent.”

“We had a multiple course menu here and it was clear that the quality of the ingredients were top notch. Every dish was prepared uniquely and was quite delicious for the most part. The first few dishes were quite underwhelming however as the flavors didn’t quite match well together however it got better and better especially towards the end when we were served wonderful meat dishes. In addition the ambience and decor of the restaurant was really well done and the staff were very present and friendly. Overall a great experience and would recommend again but must note that some dishes may not be for everyone.”

“My rate: 4.5/5 A random visit for a lunch and it was great. Food: Club sandwich was fine and had ok flavor. However the hamburger was tasty. Burger was well cooked: well seasoning and juicy. The red onion added more flavour to the burger and made it even more delicious. Price: the portions were big and the prices were reasonable. Service: it was Saturday so it's a bit slow but generally waiters were nice. Recommended!”

The bus stop is right in front of the restaurant, sadly it only stops there once per hour, and it was late - causing us to miss the train,. waste the better part of another half an hour.”

“Very nice restaurant located in a historical villa close to the nature area. Ideal place for lunch, dinner or just coffee after walking around. We came for dinner with our two kids and we had our table ready with two child seats. The staff was very helpful. We ordered our food and it was very delicious. I had the rib eye steak (medium) and it was very well prepared. The place is very cozy, with a nice atmosphere and a nice view. We will definitely come back again.”

“The place is nice, the service is fine, but the food was not right. The bao starter was dry, the carpaccio was good but it was evident it had been plated a while ago (it was hard to get off the plate) and the mixed grill was also dry. But the salmon risotto was a complete disaster, just a pile of overcooked rice you could cut with a knife and inedible salmon. Cocktails also tasted very artificial, like kids candy. We told the staff and we were given the coffees for free… that was nice, but most of us did not want coffee…”

“Great place to eat dinner as well as have an evening in the terrace. It can get busy during the weekend so make sure to reserve if it is a big group. Consider coming mid afternoon and having some drinks outside if the weather allows ( covered terrace and the wind will not get you). Their Tenerife mule is delicious if you want a mild cocktail. Good qualify coffee drinks and a great espresso martini too.”

“We had a wonderful evening here. Because almost all the tables were already fully booked when I wanted to reserve, I decided on two seats "at the bar". It turned out that these were high tables that were placed where the "normal" tables were. That was perfect! We chose the vegetarian and fish menu and it couldn't have been better. Well prepared and great in taste. The wine that was recommended to me was also exactly to my taste. A big compliment to the staff, so personable and friendly! The atmosphere, the interior and the details were right. Thanks!”
