“This place came highly recommended from a friend. Overall I enjoyed it and had a good lunch here. For the price, I think it is very lunch experience with an awesome view from the 30th floor. They have a few lunch sets you can choose from with different price point. I personally enjoyed “No. 2 set” the most. It is a tad more expensive but I was able to taste the difference in meat quality. Not a day and night difference, but I did appreciate the better quality beef. I also tried “No. 1 set” which is slightly cheaper. Still good value and the quality of the beef is not a huge gap between these two sets. Could not get the seating beside the window, where you could face the view directly while enjoying your lunch. Instead, got the table seating, however, it did not degrade the lunch experience I had. Have included two photos, one photo shows the seating at window side, and another photo shows table seating (slightly further from window) to give you an idea of the difference in view-experience. I later observed that the restaurant will “try” to seat single-person lunch goers at the window seating. That is my guess. Which is a very considerate touch. I have travelled by myself numerous times, and if I was travelling alone, then I would really appreciate the window view to enjoy my meal, since I don’t have a friend to chat with. So if you are travelling by yourself, my guess is that you might get a slightly better chance at window side seating here - but please take that with a grain of salt. Cheers!”

“Get a smaller portion unless you are at your hunger max. The classic is also a great intro into grilled spaghetti. The atmosphere is also something special with old school Japanese jams going after you order from the machine. If you aren’t comfortable with Japanese take a picture of the machines offerings then let others come by as it’s a busy in and out spot. You can also serve yourself water 👍”

“It is full of volume both during the day and at night. If you order a small amount of pasta for lunch, you will get a free drink. You can choose soup or salad for your appetizer, and you can get refills of bread. I had the impression that they were taking good measures against the coronavirus! When revisiting It can't be helped because it's a popular restaurant, but the lunch operation is really bad. Are there times when there is no one specializing in halls? So, if you can't control the number of customers, I think it would be better to restrict entry. It took 15 minutes from the time we sat down to get our water and the additional salad we ordered. The taste is delicious.”

“Excellent food and stellar service from the attentive staff! One of my best dine-in experiences, and I already want to head back there. We weren't super hungry so we avoided ordering 2 pizzas, but the staff kindly let us know that we can order a half-and-half, and we took up the offer. The staff and pizza chef were always hard at work, kneading the dough and preparing the pizza in the in-house kiln. Our pizza was super flavourful, and a dash their in-house chilli oil enhanced the flavour and gave it a great kick of spiciness. My friend and I shared a creme brulee cuz the description looked so good, and we were not disappointed. It had a generous portion of vanilla beans, and it wasn't overly sweet which allows you to appreciate the flavours and textures more. I believe they used an Italian brand of coffee too, and it fragrantly complemented the dolce well.”

“Démodé Heaven is a cool place to eat at. It’s great for parties, families, dates or even going alone. It’s in the same group as Démodé Diner. The burger that I had was really good but I didn’t like the taste of the salad dressing. It had a weird sour taste. Other than that the burgers, pizza and etc. are very good. Check them out if you’re in the area.”

“Fantastic Italian restaurant that disguises as a normal neighborhood. They are famous for cray pot chicken rice which as a interesting mix of Japanese and western tastes. Their grill and fried fish were amazing. They have a lot of seasonal menu that you will take forever to choose one from it! Highly recommended.”

Friendly service and I think this is the better Appia location as there is outdoor seating. On the more expensive side but well worth it. There are many other great Italian restaurants in Japan. If you are traveling to Japan, I recommend you to try other experiences. If you want to spend time with someone important to you, I also recommend another restaurant. You should visit this place only if you have the specific purpose of tasting the food of Antica Osteria del Ponte in Italy. For all other purposes, I would recommend a number of other great restaurants in Japan (of course, I can assure you that this restaurant is the best in terms of both food and hospitality).”

“Came here for dinner on Saturday night and had a good experience. The basement level restaurant has a unique old world atmosphere with dim lighting. The servers were nice and attentive. They offer an English menu. The food was delicious. The antipasto salad had squid, clams, and salame. The seafood pasta is highly recommended. The mixed pizza was good with its thin crust. Nice Japanese pasta restaurant in the Ginza area of Tokyo.”

“The staff didn't provide enough explanations. I wish they would let me know in advance that there would be a ¥400 table charge. Please display it clearly at the entrance. I was surprised at the accounting. Did I miss it because it was so dark? . Without saying anything, the staff brought a mysterious yellow liquid, which turned out to be honey. They didn't seem to leave the bill on the table. When I looked for the cash register and headed for the exit, the staff told me to sit down. It seems like the system is to pay at the table. The lighting was dark and the staff couldn't see the change. At this restaurant, I would like you to let me know in advance that you will be paying at the table. The entrance and exit were separate. Since it's my first time, I'm confused if someone doesn't explain that it's different from a normal restaurant.”
