“I was initially disappointed to see the hotel was still very much in the city, but the ambiance inside is even lovelier than I expected. Returning in the evening for dinner even more lovely, as the restaurant is lit in a most beautiful way, a welcome sight after a day of sightseeing in the city. The decor and lighting are tasteful and cozy. The food was simply delicious! I ordered entrecot that you finish at your table in a delicious herbed butter. Dinner was preceded by excellent bread and olives, then a refreshing sort of gazpacho with a sprinkling of greens. The quality of everything, from these starters to the beef to the fresh, crisp vegetables and fried potatoes, the presentation, was excellent. The evening was rounded out by impeccable service from the attentive and professional staff. From start to finish, a wonderful evening, and a wonderful stay at the hotel. I hope to return.”

“Undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant in Interlaken located in famous Victoria jungfraujoch hotel. Food was delicious and you may feel that you are in Italy eating authentic Italian food. “I was looking for some restaurant for Pizza and Pasta for my family. L'osteria was definitiely a known name, buit we wanted to try some new place and Puccini was chosen. The ambience of Puccini was amazing and fgrom the first glance, we thought it will be an really expensive restaurant. When we saw the menu, to our surprise, the rates were reasonable considering it was in the Swiss. Since we had planned to take-away our dishes, the food bill be made me more delighted when I saw the reduced cost. I checked with the staff if there was any mistake, but was not. The take-aways were priced slightly lower, without any difference in taste. The food was delicious and the portion was very generous.. We didn't have such a nice Carbonara pasta in long time. Al Arabiata was amazing too. And so were the Pizzas. The staff was super friendly. There were ample space inside as well as outside to sit. It also had some private parking spaces for it's customers. I would highly recomend the restaurant.”

“Searched u a restaurant near older part of town to afford an opportunity for a nice lunch and a little sightseeing stopover on the way to Zurich. There were a number of Italian food choices. I used both the food and vive photos to select this one. The interior of the restaurant is a mix of old world (lots of wood) and modern with white walls, large art on the walls and (high ceilings and glass skylights. The food was exceptional — cooked well, attractively served and nicely portioned. The only constructive feedback is that it leaned towards being more salty than we usually prefer.”

“We had not very successful experience in the restaurant. We ordered meat and risotto. The meat was good, but risotto was like a dish from a canteen. I dare to assume that parboiled rice was used for cooking, not traditional rice varieties like arborio rice or carnaroli. I prefer smaller portion or to pay more but to eat really italian risotto.”

“Sat down 48 min ago, took a whole get any staffs notice. Then, put in my order. Bread was put on the table upon request, however, it was super dry and tasted old and I had to request olive oil. Pasta came out about 30 min after putting in the order, tasted ok-ish, nothing special.”

“On vacation in Bern and ate here for dinner. Food, service, and atmosphere were very good. We started off with a mixed salad with house dressing which was ok - nothing special. The presentation was lovely and the salad ingredients were good but I didn't care for the dressing. I'm used to blue cheese or ranch and their house dressing was very different. For the main we had beef from Zurich with a mushroom cream sauce - it was very good. It also came with shredded, pan-fried potatoes and Bernese market vegetables which were both delicious. For dessert they served fruit, lemon Gelato, and lemoncello mascarpone cream which was very good. The mascarpone cream was exceptional.”

“They have a garden patio you can sit on when the weather is nice. I got the prosciutto e melone (pictured) and the Züri Geschnätzeltes with rösti. They didn’t have an English menu so I was just stabbing in the dark but do not regret any dish I had. Food was excellent.”
