“This was my first visit to Cru and I was not disappointed. Before I forget, Emily was our server and she was great. She was extremely attentive and engaging and readily answered any questions we had for her. I read the reviews about what to try and went with the fried green tomatoes with pork belly and feta and these were amazing. The pork belly was delicious and the tomatoes were cut thin so they were extra crispy. We also split the Chinese chicken salad. This was good but I don’t know if I would order that again. It’s kind of a standard Chinese cole slaw flavor. For my main at lunch I went with the Italian and it was great too. It comes with a massive side of shoe string fries that are extra crispy. The sandwich had great flavor and was delicious. You could easily share this for lunch and be satisfied. I ended up taking the other half home. That being said, this is going to be on my regular rotation now. The food and service was just awesome.”

“I found myself returning from a 14 hour road trip, we needed to stop for lunch and Victor's seemed like the best place in the area. Decision that I would repeat again, it was a very good meal, the dishes were very well served, the prices were very cheap for how beautiful the place looks, but what I must highlight the most was the attention that our waitress gave us, Jazmín was a friendly and attentive, giving the best recommendations and always with a big smile. I highly recommend this place. Postscript: The only point to improve would be to recommend the host to have a friendlier treatment, the way she acted felt very rude.”

“This is a nice place to eat, good atmosphere, nice little bar with a few contented patrons. A good sign. The pizza was also good, chewy crust, fresh ingredients. I'm a pizza snob, usually patronize Piace Pizza, but this one is really close. HOWEVER, stay away from the spaghetti unless you want a school lunchroom equivalent. I'm betting on canned sauce, frozen meatballs straight off the food truck. I'm putting this here as a challenge to Ryan's. Get it together, improve this dish. It's the easiest meal to make great!”

“OMG! The food is soooo good and the service is top notch. Our server was very attentive and personal. She even brought us complementary limoncello drinks for our anniversary. We both ordered the Insalata Mista di Stagione as an appetizer, which was a simple salad with a super flavorful balsamic dressing that had a special tang. I ordered the Orecchiette alla Baresi and my husband ordered the Pollo alla "Zingara.” Both entrees were amazing! For desert, I ordered the Affogato al OMBRA (sundae extraordinaire) and my husband ordered the limonchello mixed berry special. Highly recommend this restaurant!! You won’t regret it.”

Pleasant and he chose Cuoco with its fab menu and great reviews as he was in the mood for Italian. He chose perfectly 🥰🥰🥰 Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed and seated in a cozy booth. Jim was our waiter, and I will say if you are lucky enough to have him as your waiter, you'll be thrilled! He is very attentive, engaging, personable, and what every hospitality business wishes to have in an employee. He explained everything clearly, knew the specials without hesitating, made great recommendations, and helped with any need/question we had. When my hubby inquired about the hard cider he had served him, he went & found out and brought it back written down for us. As mentioned, my hubby had a J&K Farmhouse Cider and I had two glasses of Moscato. We were served a warm basket of fresh bread with EVOO & pesto sauce which was perfect🥖 We chose the app special which was mushroom caps stuffed with meatballs and finished with pomodoro sauce, a nice cheese blend, and chiffonade basil. Soooo yummmyyyy!!! For our main course, I had the manicotti and my hubby had the lasagna. Both were scrumptious and we brought a little back to hotel with us to enjoy tomorrow. We were full but still bought desserts to go including chocolate mousse and tiramisu. Also bought a jar of their homemade pomadora sauce home with us. All around fabulous experience!!!!”

The food portions are pretty big, and the prices are something to take advantage of. If you're hungry for some Italian food on James Island, Mondo's is the place to go. Do be aware that the restaurant gets packed within 30 minutes of it opening usually, so plan accordingly. They do have an outdoor bar if you'd like to have a couple of drinks while you wait for your table. The smaller dining space is necessary due to their small kitchen. Apart from that, I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner and for any occasion.”

“Tonight I went out with a friend, and we wanted to do something fancy. So we chose this little Italian place! Cute place, cute outdoor seating! Food was all presented so beautifully! Menu could honestly explain more of what comes with your dish, a lot items that could use more of an explanation. I only gave 3 stars, because my food was excellent, but I have a dairy allergy. All the pasta contains dairy and cheese within the sauces. Super inconvenient to someone with an allergy. Only thing I could find was the $48 steak. That’s almost too much for what was on my plate. Just a steak and handful of mushrooms. I’d come again, but possibly hope they get some dairy free options for next visit!”

“Not the best experience was had here for dinner at Felix... The lobster deviled eggs are a pass, didn't find a bit of lobster. The Mac and cheese is okay, the French onion soup is a bright spot. Once dinner came out there was hope but that was quickly snuffed out. The chicken roulade was.. a bit cold and could have used some more salt. The potatoes that came with it were not seasoned, literally just potatoes. The mushroom pasta was lacking in mushrooms significantly... And unfortunately we found a piece of cardboard in it. Our server offered to replace it and did comp the dish, but still unfortunate. Overall, I probably wouldn't be back, the real saving grace is the atmosphere, it is a very nice feeling restaurant. Probably best to just have a cocktail here.”

“If you want AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PIZZA this is it!!! This place is amazing!!!! I lived in Northern Italy for 3 years, and this is 100% authentic Italian pizza!! In Italy each person orders a pizza for themselves. You generally eat it with a fork and a knife, in addition to your hands. The freshest ingredients are used, and because of that, the water from the tomatoes settles in the center of the pizza as it cooks in the brick oven. This is authentically Italian... Not to mention, delicious!! Everything about this pizza was accurate! When they walked the pizza out to the table, the smell hit me first. It took me back 30 years. The look was spot on.... The texture... the taste.... all of it was PERFECT!!!! I was literally crying eating this pizza because of the memories it brought back. It was definitely a "Ratatouille-Moment" that snapped me back to another place and time. I have never tasted anything like this stateside. I thought I would have to go back to Italy to ever taste this again. I am beyond elated that I came across this pizzeria!!! Thank you, Apizza di Napoli, for creating an authentic meal the brought back so many wonderful memories!!! ❤❤❤”
